Why is 255 the highest score that gets posted? I was looking at the PPE game - they actually scored like 355, but it only reads 255.....kinda strange.

Actually, it is part of the computer programming. 255 is the largest number you can represent with an 8 digit binary number (2^8 = 256, but 255 is the max, since you start at 0).

Yep yep. You're absolutely right. But..... I'm sure there's a way around this. Maybe through a decision and then loop it back. Like, if score = 255 then you would have to create a macro so that when it reaches 255 or gets past it, it will keep counting to what ever number you would set it to.

it wouldn't bother me if they just cut off the score after 50-0 or something like that.
show a little mercy

I don'[t really care either - but I was just wondering why they had it set like that....

By the way - spindoctor knows WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much about this stuff.....lol.

Thanks for the love. Ya, that game gave me a freakin heart attack. I almost turned it off after that TD at the end. Never would have thought we would pull it off. There are certain teams I hate to face and the Bishops are one of them. They always play us real tough.

I feel the same way about the Steel Curtain!
