I agree that it sucks, but it sucks for everyone (like you said).

Those 6 plays you show include 3 timeouts and an incomplete pass.
Your one play in the first quarter is after you used all your timeouts.

yep. there have always been timeouts, for as long as i can remember playing this game.

You are probably right about where we used our timeouts, although it is arguable if the first one makes sense. I did not mean to diminish your win either, you guys hung in there and pulled it out in the end.

Maybe we should start a petition to Bort that timeouts are mentioned in the PBP, would help avoiding confusion.

That'd probably be a good suggestion. I always find myself counting them at the end of the half because I'm sure we got cheated. Bort's timeout logic makes sense, but it's too basic. Basically it checks:

1. Have the ball?
2. Losing?
3. Less than 2 minutes?
4. Clock running?

Timeout = Yes

I think showing timeouts in the PBP like you said would be awesome. I also think a Timeout AI would rock, but there are more important things to code than a Timeout AI right now. I'm afraid to suggest it, for fear Bort would put those more important things on hold, lol.

Well, what I am thinking off should be not too hard to implement, basically a setting for the offense "timeoute remaining". That way if no timeouts remain I can kick the FG with 40 seconds to go, if there are some left I can run another pass play.
