I went with the names I posted in my team forum at the time we played them, and to see current team names I went to the according game log from a player that was on the team back then. For that reason I am fairly certain that the matches I put in of teamnames at that date and today are correct, with the exception of Middleton/Rockledge, the mascot must have thrown me off without checking the name.

I think that's why we're coming up with different names. For some reason, it seems that if a team changed their name in season 1, the original name is gone from the previous game logs. For example, oslo used to be stockholm, but this is their very first game:

Also, the Roughnecks were the emerald dragons, but you won't find any game logs with that name (at least I haven't).
It's a weird system though....like I said before, if you look through season 1 for a team, some games will have their old name, and some will have the current (the avatars are always current though).....in the case of the madrid maulers in zeta, there were 3 names that came up: the maulers, the spartan practice squad (their current name), and the "c-something" chinchillas (can't remember what the city was).
It's all so confusing....
