I just posted exactly that! Look up.
You still haven't answered my question.

And how much head fake do your HBs actually have.

Which question was that?

About Juke helping a WR get open?

I mean, I have no clue.. That's what he said, I was just repeating it.

Well since there's no logical reason for Juke to be active during a route, it make sense that Bort increased those SAs for general use of any players who had them, not just for WRs.

Anyway I give up. You're entitled to your opinion, which will clearly never change.

Its cool, dude..

I'm just trying to discuss it.

I guess we just have different opinions, which is fine.

But he never mentioned anything about RBs - all he said was WRs. Maybe he did turn it up for both, but he was doing it to help the WRs, so who knows..

No worries.

And what did you think about me having 7 in Head Fake..

Wouldn't you think that would be plenty enough, with over 60 Agility?

I've since changed my custom equipment to all speed, instead of all agility. He then went on to have his best game of the season, as those 6 extra points into Agility weren't doing him shit - because none of my Elusive SAs, other than Quick Cut, are even worth a shit.

Well I think with 7 Head Fake you would only be able to use it on 1 or 2 players max on a given play and since the description says it's effective against those with low vision I would also assume that you'd also need decent vision to successfully use it.

I personally think the additional levels on SA's such as Head Fake only increase the chance of successfully using the SA by a small percentage similar to the advanced equipment, such as by 3 or 5%.

Well that's what I'm saying.. Then its not worth it.

Going up to 8 would cost me 4 SPs.

I see MUCH more of a return in Quick Cut, than I do in Head Fake. I just think that when Bort turned HeadFake down, he did it way TOO much. I do think that turning it down was warranted, but it seems like it just went way back to the other extreme.

For the record..

My RB had a little over 60 Agility, around 35 Vision with 7 Head Fake.. and it wouldn't really work.

So if 60 Agility isn't enough to kick of Head Fake.. Can you imagine how much you need for Juke to be effective?

Its not like this on other positions... I don't need 60+ Vision for Super Vision to kick in on my CB - you know?

I don't need 60+ Agility for First Step to kick in on my WR..

What do you consider high? I have defensive players with both agility and vision over 50 without equipment.

Yeah, I know.. So do I.

What I mean, is that the life span of our players is only half way over.

So in essence, In Season 5 of 10, no player should really have "High" Agility or Vision..

Its all relative, obviously. We're just trying to read into what Bort wrote in the Head Fake description box..

I mean the cap of an attribute is 100.. So technically, 50 is only half of that. So I doubt that anyone considers half of the maximum - to be a high number.

No one considers a 50/100 test score, a high test score.

Like I said, its all relative, but if this is based on a players entire career, then no, 50 is not high at all.

How much juke does your player have? Like I said before, I don't think I've seen head fake work but juke I've seen.

I only have about 3 Juke..

But if I don't have enough Agility to make HeadFake work, then i definitely don't have enough to make Juke work..

I'm not going to waste any more SPs into Juke or Headfake, until I'm positive that it works.

I can't risk wasting anymore points, I already wasted too many in Headfake.

Head Fake and Juke work fine. Seeing someone freeze isn't the only time it works - it works when you see the RB slip by someone without recording a broken tackle or going around the edge of a block without being tackled (although there are other factors associated with that event).

Plus, the higher the SA, the better it works. And the higher the attributes associated with it, the better it works. I doubt Agility is the only attribute connected to the Elusive SAs.

And, of course, a good O-line >>> any build.

Use juke, it works much better. I had similar results with head fake not working, juke has worked well for me though. My guy has 364 yards and 7 touchdowns, all vs quality opponents. My guy had good games in the past, but usually only against lesser teams.

Here's some of the plays:

Just chiming in on the Juke thing.

A juke is a double move. Picture you're running a route that's a deep slant to the sidelines.

Run 10 yards, Slant to the inside and then cut sharply to the outside after the CB has been pulled to the inside hard. Easy 3+ yard cushion.
