A few of my teammates on other teams also noticed it last year, and a few more did this year. This was the worst example of it:

I was standing still at the 1 or 2, while the ball was 8 to 10 yards away. I would think I would have had enough time to adjust.

That said, I have also caught balls where the replay showed the ball dot being on the defender. So I just chalk it up as the replay not being too accurate.

If you look at the replays, it seems like the corner is sticking pretty well to the recievers until the ball nears and he then appears to stop. Now maybe they tripped over themselves but seeing as it was incomplete and not dropped, maybe the cb tipped it down wards? That was just my first thought, it could also be too low.

I stopped being cool in 1993 as well so I guess it fits.

All my receivers have over 50 catching

This is pretty ridiculous...my QB had 40% completion today. We did win, and it was a very good team, but that's still very low for a QB with over 80 throwing. My QB also has a lot of strength, and is capable of throwing long passes.

How much is a lot of strength?

On the replay you wrote "I know that one's pretty crazy, but it went right to him!", I think the QB under threw him as it looks like the WR stops and tries to come back for the ball.

Yeah, I'm seeing a bunch of talented QBs with VERY low completion percentages these last couple of days..

Its really ridiculous that every time a new season rolls around, things end up broken that were working just fine before.

I wish we could roll back to Season 3 - and be done with these damn changes.

For those QB's that are having these "really bad" games, I'd be interested in knowing their CONF scores. Rumor has it that some defensive players have access to specials that can really screw with a QB's head.

No, that's not it either.

The starting QB for my team, has a Confidence rating of 44.

Last year, he finished with a QB rating of 118.2
This year, against competition that really wasn't on our level - his rating is 72.

The backup QB has much lower confidence, but has an almost identical QB rating and he also had a VERY high QB rating last season.

The SIM is fucked, again.
