do I have a bad QB? I have 71 throwing.

Soft cap throwing first, vision then strength then con. By soft capping vision first, you run risk of throwing lots of picks starting out from what I've seen. Soft capping throwing first then vision, you may have a lower completion percentage, but you won't throw many picks.

I actually went throwing strength then vision and my completion percentage suffered because of it up until I soft capped vision around week 10 or so.

I wouldn't put every piece of equipment into throwing, i went throwing for first 3 upgrades and I'm going to be putting vision for the rest, and supplementing it with advanced equipment once I find some pieces worth buying.

Also every build is crap unless you have good receivers and a line that will block for you. QBs are very team dependent.

This.

But I would disagree with not dumping every piece of equipment into throwing. Dumping all your gear into one stat just lets you focus on others with actual stat points. I don't think it matters if it is through gear or levels, having throwing and vision as your highest attributes is very important. Gear just makes it easier to get stats higher after the various caps because you get a solid +1 in the stat at your team owners expense.

I'm just getting the feeling after a certain point, points become less important. I haven't done any research on this, but I just have the feeling if a qb has lets say 4 points to spend, it will be more beneficial to go from 50 to 54 in a skill than from 70 to 74 in a skill. I'm just seeing too limited improvement when stats get too high.

Well, there becomes a point where you can't be much more on target. Where I see the extra points having value is against higher-level competition, or when your morale/energy is down.
