Seriously, what kind of sleezeball makes stuff up about "better come play in Canada Pro or you won't make max exp!" And then tries to cover up his lies with some b.s. about what someone said, even though everyone knows the "sportsmanship" effect Bort was talking about was never put in place, and even if it was other comments were made so that no one is going to be penalized for playing in Canada AAA or any other AAA league for that matter. Wow, if a sportmanship effect was to take place, my guess is by default your scumbag ass would finish last in the sportsmanship category.

edit: So yea, I can "back up (his) lame story." I bet dozens of others can as well.

You need to figure out what LIE means and then figure out who was lying. If anyone was LYING about the XP penalty that BORT said was going to go into effect, then it was BORT, not me. Don't be mad because I was in a Pro league that wasn't going to be affected and you weren't. That was BORT'S DECISION, not mine.

Then he chose not to put it into effect. Seems your misplaced anger should be towards BORT and not me. Alot of teams were upset at me for pointing out that thread, but it wasn't a LIE. I was quoting from the book of BORT.

No Pro League teams were upset that I had the balls to mention that rule. Several players also thanked me because they hadn't heard of it. 2 players came to my team as a result of my bringing up that thread of Bort's.

So you may call it dirty or whatever, but it was 100% TRUTH and it was 100% EFFECTIVE.

That's what an effective recruiter does: points out the strengths of his own team and the weaknesses of the other teams.

But I guess you wouldn't know anything about being an effective recruiter. Neither would Drago.

Nah dude, you knew you were lying to start out with. You didn't stand behind your statement when you got called on it and had it crammed down your lying throat. So you knowingly fell back on lies and deceit, sometimes feigning ignorance about other quotes Bort had used to clarify his statement about sportsmanship. "Quoting from the book of Bort" as you put it... you sure took some liberties in doing that... huh?

The fact remains that you openly said, "Well, better come play for my team because if you go play for any other team you'll definitely lose exp! Look at the loose interpretation I have come up with!" When in fact: #1) No one knew how the system would work, and #2) As I mentioned, Bort had come out and openly said things that proved your comments to be a lie.

No other Pro League team I saw ever mentioned that comment of Bort's because they knew it would be deceitful to do such a thing. They knew it was a low ball, scumbag move, and "they didn't have the balls to do it" should be replaced with "they had enough class not to jump to conclusions and make things up while twisting the words original intent around."

Yea, I call it lying and being deceitful, and it wasn't the 100% truth - it was a scare tactic used by a scumbag who apparently has no problems using such tactics to get a recruit... it wasn't 100% effective by the way, because you didn't land that recruit dumbass. Maybe you should learn what 100% means, because it doesn't mean what you think it means...

And if you're such an effective recruiter... why did your team miss the playoffs last year? Weird. Again, you're a man of dillusional thoughts - it's pretty obvious. You think you're better than you really are, but most of us see right to the worthless part of who you are.

Since you guys are all friends, and seem to like to trade players to the teams that are doing good, but have a couple of weaknesses to help win different Pro leagues. Why not get all of your teams into 1 League and compete against each other? You like to be together, this way the Cartel can play the Mercenaries and Leg. every year in a meaningful game.....I love fantasy football...I love to play it with my friends...So I love to get a league with my friends and compete against them....I don't have lets say 12 different friends all in 12 different leagues, and half way through the season friend A who is 7-1 and needs receiver help, says hey Jason your team is having a bad year your 4-4 give me Terrell Owens and I will give you Patrick Crayton. Then we will have a UK ORG win a league.....Yea that's real fun...So my question is not sarcastic but real....Why spoil the fun for teams, who for whatever reason, don't have the time, money or resources to have farm teams, and man up and use your great GLB minds and compete against each other asking to put all the Orgs into 1 league.
Thanks Jason aka SheVegas

ROFL. Having been a part of the ORG since it's inception, I really don't see what the big deal is.

So have you ever signed a player midseason to help your team out?

I'm not sure which teams made the playoffs last year and which ones didn't... I know the team I was a part of made the playoffs but didn't get very far.

In my eyes a farm system would work like this, one team does very well, other teams do poorly while funneling what talent they do have to the team doing well. That isn't what we have here, my guess is relatively speaking, all of the ORG teams do very well.

The ORG is basically a group of guys with a positive attitude that have aligned with one another... the #1 goal is your own team first, but the #2 goal is we love to see our friends bring trophies from their own leagues as well.

SheVegas, would you like to ride with Batman?

I hope you kept some of these threads where you say I said this stuff because I'm going to call you a flat out liar now.

I NEVER said "DEFINITELY". NEVER EVER EVER. I was very careful to word it as "you could POSSIBLY lose XP's. My next sentence was always, "I don't know for sure, but why take a chance??" Then the link to Bort's exact words.

I had NOTHING crammed down my throat or however you want to interpret it. After a series of 10 PM's back and forth with a Mod who said he thought I was misinterpreting the rule, he gave more more info than was included in Bort's post. He told me that he "thought" the "sportsmanship ban" was going to be about 8 levels away from the league average, but wasn't sure. Based on THAT information (and not what Bort had posted), I took it upon myself not to say anything at all but just saying "have you seen the XP penalty that Bort is planning on starting?" then linking to his post. Nothing more. I still had lower level leagues crying like babies that it wasn't fair.

And I don't even know who you are. I've never seen you around and you certainly didn't say anything to me back then. If you did, it was under one of your 2nd or 3rd accounts.

So if Drago, you, and a couple others want to characterize me as a bad owner because I pointed out a rule that Bort made, then I guess that makes me a bad owner.

P.S. Your team wouldn't have made the playoffs in our league either.

coachviking is putting together a pretty decent team, but it isn't ready for Canada Pro yet. I'm kind of surprised that it was as close as it was. I thought we would win by much more. I guess I should have gameplanned. Now people are going to think the Evil Monkeys are almost as good as us. LOL

You can call me whatever it is you want, the fact is you lied. Period plain and simple. Even your own teammates who came to your defense shut up once they realized what they were defending, a scumbag who lied, was deceitful, all to get a single player to sign with his team - who never signed with your team anyway. Just calling a spade a spade dude - nothing less, nothing more... maybe if you wern't here shittalking the ORG I wouldn't say anything to you, but as it is - I remember the post, I remember I was about to join in when I read a few choice posts that put you in your place and figured I'd save the energy. Which is what I'm going to do now...

You're a deceitful, lying owner. You can call me whatever you want, and you'll be the only person doing it - but just realize there are several dozen people that know who you are and the shit you'll pull... you may lie to a few of your recruits and trick them into signing with your team, but in the end they'll figure you out and leave you as well - maybe that's why you didn't make the playoffs.

Oh, and P.S. - we'll never know about my team, but we do CERTAINLY know about your team... non-playoffs.

Did you really just post a link to a scrimmage game? A scrimmage game that everyone will tell you the Monkeys didn't bother to plan for as it was after the playoffs and most everyone was busy relaxing in the offseason? Wow. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Keep scumbagging it up liar.

Because like me and everyone else in the game, they are trying to win. If they have 5 teams and can trade the best player on all 5 teams to their 1 team that makes the playoffs, it gives that team the best chance of winning.

Not exactly fair to the teams that don't have a farm system, but this clown only points out how other people use their advantages, not their farms system (which caused many people to quit this game in season 2 when it was revealed that farm systems were going to be allowed).

I'm in favor of all people being able to use whatever they can within the rules to win. Would I like to see some of those advantages to go away for the benefit of the game? yes.

Do I call USAORG names like sleezebag or scumbag for bending the rules in their favor though? No.

Farm systems are 100% legal, and USAORG has a farm system. End of thread.

(Everyone uses that excuse when they lose).

Just admit you got your ass kicked and try to work your way up to a Pro League and not choke in the playoffs again.

Check the 2 games before we played you. We used the exact same offense and defensive sets. Don't pretend that we won because we tried. How pathetic.

Thanks for the write up, but if you are truly a competitive person (which I assume you all are) wouldn't you rather win a trophy beating your friends then trying to help your friends in other leagues win one....I mean I would wager that when the Giants where making their SB run and lets say going into the home stretch Plaxeco broke his leg. Lets say the Tampa Bay Buccs had a in his prime Joey Galloway. Do you think Rhonde would tell management hey trade Galloway to the Giants, I much rather have my brother win then a chance for us to make the playoffs, since they have a better shot.

Again, I have friends here who I would like to see to well, but I would never trade a player to help them win, it goes against every competitive bone in my body. I think the reason you guys do this is because you look like this big powerful Mob family by keeping everyone in different leagues. The reason why you won't all go into one league is because your "Org" plans would not work. There would be competition between the teams instead of helping the other Org teams. The same competition we all have to face. Thus the way GLB is set up currently with the Org's in all Pro leagues gives you a huge advantage. Now I'll leave you with a quote...Riddle me this Batman...HATE ME ALL YOU WANT, BUT I SURE LOVE ME SOME ME!!!

People also say regular season games don't matter either. Then they say only playoff games matter. Then when they lose in the playoffs, they say it was a fluke.

Stop making excuses...
