Well finally got to a place that has power and internet. My house is fine but looks to be out of power for a few more days if not a week or so. Hope everyone else is doing good.

yeah despite your seeming hatred of me for some unknown reason, I'm glad you're alive...kinda funny though, here in Indiana we got some wash-off high wind and rain one day (two days ago) and people have been out of power here for the past two days in places. Some areas don't expect to get power back for weeks up here, and a community shelter has been opened with food, places to sleep, and showers and stuff like that for people here...

Kinda pathetic how you guys got nailed by a fucking hurricane and we get some 60 MPH winds and lose power for a longer period haha. I didn't, obviously, but it's just sad how isolated we are up here and sheltered against shit like this. Completely unprepared...for comparatively speaking, nothing.

Scoot and several of the other Houston players still haven't made it back on. We haven't heard a word from them.

one of our OC's, Hardcore Texan, came on briefly to say that his house was ok, but a couple of his family members houses were destroyed. Since he's going down to help out, we have a couple other guys stepping up to run the gameplans.

Anyways the update for those of us that our just North of Houston. Wind as continually picked up as the evening has gone. Power keeps flickering on and off. The rain has just started and it seems to be another 2-3 hours before we really start seeing the heavy stuff.

You and turner are both wise and knowledgeable. You both have solid facts and statements. Let's not flame Turner and call him a dumb ass though. What he says is really interesting and is based on facts. We human beings are just to ignorant and to stubborn. We are indeed killing our planet but we are just to ignorant to realize this or just don't care. Most of us won't have to deal with this issues in the future but our sons and grandsons will. Sooner or later this planet will die but we can make it last longer. Hurricanes are getting worst every year, and a lot of it has to do with what Turner stated.
