Oh god. It was awful. I was playing that when it came out. Came back two years later and they still didn't have a graphical sim. There was no extra cost per cap, so you just put 1500 points into slap shooting and hope you weren't up against a goalie who had 1500 in blocking.

It took weeks to train attributes from 18 to 32, but with boosting and equipment you got something like 400 points to spend wherever you wanted. There was no such thing as two ways to build, there was no balance. There was only your players that passed the puck and won faceoffs, your player that did 100% of the shooting, and your goalie who had better be boosting and putting 100% of points into shot blocking.

I tried to explain that their building system was completely broken and offer solutions to fix it, but they didn't care. They openly let their Admins own the top teams and would gloat as they destroyed anyone who they played. It was the worst game on the internet. Five years after starting and they don't have a graphical representation of the sim, still just "won faceoff, passed, shot, scored!" Hockey games shouldn't end 55-10, but because the O was so dominant and boosting so OPed, that teams would just get wiped out.
