The ladder is funky in the lower league right now because if you win enough games, there are no teams in "Seasoned" (the level after Sophomore), so they match you up with Veteran teams. I've come close to beating a vet team, but the sheer # of SP and AP between the two makes it impossible.

Once beta starts, Sophomore teams won't be matched against Vet teams in the ladder and would only play teams above their level if they were good and the other team was bad. I think it will work out, but in the end your ladder rank needs to be compared only to the teams in your own age group.

Yep, my team has 4 losses against vet teams due to being at the top of the ladder in terms of Sophomore aged teams, lol

Also TN... for somebody that requested their thread be kept on-track, you sure to seem to respect that in other threads.

I guess I and most likely snakes has thicker skin than you. If he has a problem with the post, he'll report it. Though I assume since bhall and snakes have basically lived in WL together, there's some history and that jab isn't nearly as bad as you'd like it to be.

This was never enforced on certain users. That rule should read differently.

Yeah, it applies to everyone but mods. When I mentioned that my last 3 bans have been unjust, you post that others beat you to banning me.

You're the last one that should be quoting rules. When you spend over a million flex in this game, then make a jab at a paying customer because you don't like his political ideals. My sig says it all.

Which is why a lot of people are burning flex and on the way out.

fwiw, mods have been suspended in the past. They are not immune.

Personal attacks are all about the use of personal information, though. It's me digging for someone's facebook and then linking it over here or using bits of it (picture of your girlfriend, etc.).

The general butthurt that we all get isn't moderated here. It definitely is on other parts of the internet world (look at 99% of game forums out there), but GLB is pretty loose.

Pretty loose? Yeah, loose with who GLB gets as mods. I spend a small fortune in flex, so it's only reasonable I know who banned me unjustly. Then I don't get a ruling for three damn days, and get a PM....Your suspension has been lifted, time served!

WTF? Then I have a mod tell me another beat him to banning me? Seriously?

You are always welcome to contact a lead moderator or support in regards to inappropriate mod behavior. In regards to appeals taking a bit, that's certainly my apologies being my arena. In recent months, since slash and I's promotion to lead mod, we've been much more prompt with our appeal decisions unless discussion is needed (on either the user side or the moderator side).

In regards to a suspending moderator choosing to be anonymous, that's their choice. Regardless of how much is spent on the game, it doesn't give you a reason to violate their chosen privacy. There are some delicate situations where moderators are suspending friends, teammates, team owners, etc.. Transparency would just hurt everything a moderator cares about as a regular player of GLB.
