Zero interest in normal Pro in almost every ad in there now and for a long time now. Elitism wasnt just a team owner persona, it was the agents supplying players. No WL and FAR more teams are on an even ground to recruit and stay active in the forums since it was so spread.
WL drowned the pro leagues. But what you are talking about was already happening to AAA through B leagues for a long long time. The second a plateau level was reached everyone wanted to play in the pro leagues and the rest of the leagues were becoming more trash every season.
