Wouldn't it just solve the whole debate on multis if they just expanded the free player limit. 8 players...12 players...16 players whatever. It's weird to go on the record to be supportive of something directly against your Terms of Service. Maybe they just want you free loaders to have the hassle of logging into different accounts.

Might as well follow suit with the franchise idea like GLB2 where you can spend a flat rate of flex and build a whole team. Plus any flex purchase gets you to premium so maybe if the amount for each player was tiered you get x amount of free players. Just a thought there though

Hey guys just wanted to jump in here an apologize for rage quitting the HOOLIGAN team. I instantly regretted it and feel bad for the FAs that were on that team. It had been a bad day, too many beers, and another loss that I had thought would be a win. No excuses for a bad move on my part and as soon as I clicked the mouse I went from "fuck this shit" to "dammit I shouldn't have done that". Put me on the "List of Infamy", I'm fine with that, earned it I suppose.

I do like and agree with Stabby McGinge

As a newer player, I've got to say it's pretty weird seeing what seems like older, more mature members of this community straight-up cheating or finding ways around the rules. Whether it's messing with gear to tank games or setting up AI to pad MVP numbers, it just feels off—especially in such a small community where everyone knows each other.

Look, if some 19-year-old was using wallhacks in CS:GO, whatever. But when it's prominent community members doing this stuff and then joking and gloating about it publicly on the forums? That's genuinely embarrassing.

The game creator already ruled on this and handed out punishments. It's cheating, period. You can debate whether it SHOULD be considered cheating, but that's a separate conversation.

I've been playing for almost a year and really love this game, but this kind of drama absolutely drives away new players. And here's the thing that really gets me—these same people complaining about no competition and everyone else being terrible are the ones making it harder for new players to want to stick around and actually learn the game to HAVE new competition.

If you're dominating the top leagues and then cheating because you're bored, you're basically telling new players not to bother trying to get good at building dots, learning to OC/DC, or putting in the time to compete because its all fixed anyway.

You're killing off the exact fresh blood that would give you the competition you say you want.

That's the stuff that enables frustrated rage quitting.

Thoughts and prayers for Venomcoach and his family, a genuinly good dude

most "multi's" were just actual accounts that someone decided to move on and they let someone else have the account - the flex being used was paid for - sometimes the account is sold to someone else if it has a lot of flex on it

sometimes, those people log back in and pick the game back up

sometimes they long in just to post or look around

so it is using purchased flex in most cases - even if you create a new account to get free players you still have to buy flex to get full CE so your player is worthwhile

so Bort aklready made his money off the flex - he isn't missing out

It’s insanely cheaper to make 4(in my case) free players on my multi and buy the flex needed for equipment there. Particularly if you make all high flex players. I believe you that some accounts had tons of flex in them and that makes sense. And knowing how the game went back then a lot of buddies just handed over there stuff to the next guy when they didn’t want to play anymore. It just seems a little excessive these days and it’s hard to know when you are even playing a unique agent or just another Hall of Famer that’s going to tear your butthole up again.

I rage quit constantly, ask madmal, and remove all my gm duties. Feels pretty dumb afterwards. I am also hoping in about 10 days that I’ll be done* forever aside from riding this last batch to retirement.

Without you, this thread could’ve never been extended. You’ve literally pulled this community back together in the best way it knows how, attacking the p, pp, koo, Tom, hell even KoB got a little love/hate reminder at one point. You are kinda like a Batman anti-hero type in my mind. And the fact that you didn’t have punter/kicker for a long time drove me to a special kind of rage somehow.

Good day sir, and thank you for bringing Bort back.

I understand what you are saying - just explaining how financially Bort isn't likely to be too concerned by multi's - the game is 17 years old and people still buy flex
