sorry though, as it could indeed have been the feel good story of the season after the start you endured.... but after the SIM stole the game from us against the Elvis's (you remember, the 2 fumbles with < 2 min left in a span of ~30 seconds from a guy who doesn't fumble -- still the only 2 he had all season and the only 2 he's lost in the past THREE seasons)

even had a little extra incentive to send the Growl up to 8th to see if they could give Chicago a game again... of course i'd try to blame the Hedgies for throwing that initial game with them just to keep us down, but in reality i've got to think they'd rather face us as the 8th seed than the Growl considering in our short history i think they beat us by an average of 55 points...

You guys shut our passing game down, but part of that was my fault. I took over running the offense at Christmas time because our OC was going away for the holidays. He was supposed to take back over after New years, but didn't. I'm not the best OC around, and got so busy doing other things this weekend that I didn't do a very good job of scouting you. It may not have happened, but I'd like to think we would have beaten you guys if our OC had taken back the duties. Oh well, shit happens.
