Considering that developing the new game took into account what people liked so much about this game in the first place and what's worked (and what hasn't worked as well) since then, one could look at it like all of old GLB has indirectly been a Suggestions Thread for new GLB...

GLB2 has a lot of suggestions from the GLB1 up for vote list, too.

Things like attribute sharing with your friends list, coaching profiles/records, and the record book that Bort was talking about planning to add.
