I think this is an excellent idea and rectifies a lot of issues that the original major/minors have, like no speed for FB, no jumping for TE, tackling/blocking on the other side of the ball, etc.


lol. You're comparing fb's getting 0 speed from the nat level gains to a balanced back not getting the 4 best majors? Thanks for the input. lol...

No it's cool, I'll work on Speed when I hit level 56.

The only thing this does is give us ALGs that make more sense. Ok sure, you make a HB and you aren't certain what ALGs you want in the long run. You know what? ANY ALGs are going to be better than THROWING regardless of what build you're going for.

So why archetypes? Why not just change the oddball SA's and call it good?

This is an awsome idea ive been wanting a wat to be able to alter builds for a while now so every doesnt keep making the same player..And the more realistic player size is pretty cool

Yes, it's because if you had Speed as a minor to Run Blocker it would pretty much eliminate any reason to choose Pass Blocker. We looked at a lot of factors when coming up with these, including how they compared to the other archetypes. You can still train and put point in speeds as a Run Blocker, you're just not getting an ALG for it.

because this allows you to tweak your player by selecting a major/minor attribute package.

Then I'm not so happy now. I feel like this is a step in the right direction with builds, now to be able to maximize them would be the way to complete the task.

Realism of a rushing QB? And you want to make rushing QBs even scarier in terms of speed/agility?

That's one of the "grr" type things in GLB right now, although the scrambling QB will still make a functional rushing QB.

Seriously I think it's a great idea. A lot of people of complaining but the greatest about this it's that crappy agents will still make crappy players. lol

I do like this a lot.... but, heres my whine line for this....

Players created s10-s11 keep getting it up the shoot a little further each season....
