The only reason I'm for this is because it can't really hurt anything. I personally don't know if it's needed because even while deployed, you have internet access pretty much everywhere now. Sure, you could be gone for a few days, but that usually won't have much effect on your dots. It is possible that some people just won't have enough time though.

I would create a player on day 41, train him for a week, freeze my account until day 41 two seasons later, train him for a week, freeze my account until day 41 two seasons later, train him for a week, freeze my account until day 41 two seasons later, etc.

1) Easily fixed by only allowing unfreezing on the SAME day the following season for example.
2) Good luck with your SSB player in like 5 years with that strategy. lol

I honestly don't think this would be done much. Just too tedious and time consuming.
To avoid this you could allow an account to only be frozen twice, or make it to where it has to be unfrozen AT LEAST 50 days before it is eligible to re-freeze.
Being in a time of war, and dire global economic instability where there may be some times where the perks like web access just have to be dropped for a time I think this is a really good idea...
If it were to just instantly remove players from teams it may be hell on some owners, but as long as a user gives advance warning of the freeze I think this is definitely a good upgrade to the site. Make it to where you can log in and check in when you can without unfreezing the players, and make it so that you have to manually unfreeze your players so logging in to see what's going on doesn't bite you in the ass.

Wouldn't work because you would have to freeze your whole account and unless you were cheating and had multiple accounts
, how would you enjoy this game by logging on for 1 week every pre-season. Also I'm sure freezing your account every 40 something days would look a little suspicious.

The positive for our soldiers and those in emergency situations far outweighs any silly negative. I for one would love to watch some idiot log on for 1 wk every 40 plus days, train, do nothing else, and freeze their account.
They'd be an easy target for all of us to simply have fun with. We could post the idiot's name and player all over this site and let everyone comment on the level of stupidity he is displaying.
We could call it the the "training no playing" method. Talk about all work and no play..lol

My two brother in laws serve in the Army, unfortunately one didn't make it back, and I agree with it completely. In no way should they be punished. They do jobs most of us couldn't dream of doing.
