- Low contracts are now 12.5% reduction instead of the original 25%.
This ensures that teams aren't just loading up with superstars (Padre loaded up 11 superstars during the rookie season) with a bunch of regular players with low salaries. Most teams running with 3-8 superstars now. Really depends on contracts and who your superstars are. Been some wide variation thus far on who is being superstar'd.
As of right now if you loved the GLB of old with tons of yards, interceptions, touchdowns, sacks, FF's, etc...you would probably love the current sim. It is pretty crazy as of right now at the pro level.
On the other hand, my team was doing just fine with 3 Superstars. To be honest, I think the team was better under my old PQB and RQB than under my S* QB.
Well like we were talking last night. Even on DC right now, some of the regular players are our best performers overall. I don't think people will be completely bummed about having a regular player. They all perform to some degree and some actually perform quite well. I think that some of the superstar players might actually help the regular players perform well too.

If the main advantage of superstar players is a large amount of additional SP then they wouldn't necessarily be much better than non-superstars at one particular thing, they would simply be more versatile by virtue of filling up a wider variety of attributes.

The existence of pay-for-a-superstar is a huge turnoff for me. I recognize that having one doesn't mean it will perform, but just the idea of the additional SP that a "regular" dot doesn't have seems off-putting.
And yes I realize that they won't turn back from having superstars in the game.
