This is mostly true...two scare...one of them HUGE (U of _). The others were actually pretty under control...just the points don't show it. Wisconsin and Iowa weren't nearly as close as they appeared...and Buffalo they just played with. Northwestern (before all the injuries) and U of _ were the only really tight ones.

But I do agree...it is how they beat their competition. Still...everyone is ripping the hell out of the strength of the B1G Ten and NOBODY is talking about how pathetic the Big 12 and ACC actually are...that is what bothers me.

I have no real issue with FSU being ranked higher than OSU...just how the nation is viewing the strength of the B1G Ten.

To be perfectly fair, I talk about how pathetic the Big XII is on a pretty consistent basis

To be fair, your team never did any better in the lowly Big 12 than it has done in the mighty SEC. I guess it doesn't matter which conference you play in, your team is always mediocre.

Ok, fair enough...FSU's games were not close and didn't appear close either. Clemson is as good as any school OSU has played to date...

Actually, I think it is the SEC fearing they could get locked out of the NC if OSU and FSU win their respective conferences this weekend. The SEC homers are just picking on the weaker of the two.

Couldn't have said it better myself. SEC guys have a point that it would be a shame to shut them out after winning so many titles in a row, but that point doesn't overcome you have 2 big time programs in power conferences that are undefeated. Having seen MSU's defense they have a real shot at beating OSU, if they don't then OSU does deserve their shot, imo.

I hate saying this as I am one to not make predictions and this will probably blow up in my face, but if Nebraska second string offense could effectively move the ball at will against the 'stingy' MSU defense, then OSU shouldn't have a problem with it.

Mack only won 1 more conference title in the Big XII than we did. Let that sink in for a bit.

It has absolutely nothing to do with a new coaching staff for us and improved recruiting, the fact that Missou had won a share of 3 Big XII North titles, nor the fact the 2 "upgrades" were feeding on chum in the worst conferences in college football. NOTHING AT ALL.
