IOW the ownership and GMs never made a serious effort... I'm not saying everyone on that team is evil or anything. There are some that have made a valiant effort to smooth things over.

It's becoming more and more obvious who the ring-leader of that team is and it's Mr. "Sold My Team 'Cause I Didn't Have Time Because of My Sick Kid But Now Due to Some Miracle I Now Do Have Time But I Assure You it Has Nothing to Do With the Fact That We've Moved to a League That We Outlevel and Can Beat Again"....

Anyone else notice that the new team name bears a remarkable resemblance to the team he used to own???

I never realized Death Valley could be like NYC and support 2 teams! But in the same conference? At least be original.

They even have the old monixide avitar as thier team emblem. They really should have just named themselves the Jakarta Vikings and been done with it.

And to the other dude, we lost to the team who won it all by a TD thats it lol( we also won it the year before). And if we woulda won that game we prob woulda won it all. FACT: You moved to a less-competitive division that you out-level.
FACT: You claimed it was because you had no time to be a team owner.
FACT: You NOW GM not one but TWO teams. Glad to see you have the time now.
FACT: Albequerque has now magically morphed into the "Vikings" which was your old team. I half expect MIKECRAFT to hand over ownership to you soon.
FACT: You all forced other teams in this league to boost early in order to compete with you and then had the audacity to claim that it was all about game-planning and such tripe (waiting to boost your entire squad up so you out-level other teams by a significant margin considering level 24 equipment upgrades).

Ok, I feel that I need to address something after reading all of this. I personally copied and pasted Bort's reply to my PM to him at the beginning of the season, when the morning that this entire thread was started I sent him a PM and asked to switch leagues. With the help of many of the people who posted in the beginning of this thread (you guys knew a lot more admins than I ever did), I contacted another admin about the situation, since Bort was slow in responding to my initial inquiry. I even showed him some of the teams that many individuals suggest that we switch leagues with. Believe it or not, Craft and Mono followed suit shortly after. What happened was wrong, I already have had dozens and dozens of PMs with Gwenn about this topic, and actually personally addressed k2 about it earlier in this season (atleast I think it was you k2, I didn't actually look back and check it out, so if it wasn't you then that's my bad). There were most definitely some individuals who did what they could to try and correct the mistake. Nobody is questioning whether the decision was right or wrong, because although the current rules of the game "allowed" it to a certain extent, it was still the wrong way to go about it. The decision was made without much thought about it, without thinking about who we were affecting, simply thinking about ourselves and staying together (for those who have actually followed this thread from the beginning of the season, I apologize for repeating myself...again). Bad decision, tried to fix it, didn't work out, we were stuck with our decision/mistake. This league is 10x closer than any other league I have yet to be a part of in this game, and I personally apologize for what I, as a member of this team, have helped put everyone through this season. Everyone knows how pissed off everyone is about these circumstances, but lets stop wasting our time attacking one another, and focus on being successful in the playoffs (ok asshole, easy for you to say, you're on a stacked team that cheated, waited to boost, and now is gonna roll until they face NBSC). I doubt that, let's see how these next few games unfold and you will see what I mean. Do not think that we will not do our best to win our games, but I feel as if eveyrone will be surprised with the results of the playoffs out West.

Here's the difference Bryon, you're being a decent guy about the situation. You acknowledge that even if the rules allowed you to stack a team like you did it wasn't "fair" and wasn't the right way to go about things. That doing what you did instantly made you the highest rated team in this league, and all you could have and should have done from that point on was try to keep a low profile. Some people on your team aren't mature enough to do that. Instead they have acted like spoiled little brats who gets away with something and taunt the other kids while the teacher isn't looking. Some people on your team would rather rub it in our faces that they worked the system and got away with it. They'd rather come in here periodically after everyone else has let this whole thing die and bump this thread to re-open the wound.

I could have forgiven you guys if that had been your stance from the first game or two once the dust settled. Instead Monoxide is in here being a complete jerk about the whole situation. Honestly, I don't even think was a sick kid. Not a truly sick kid like you guys cried about. Sure, maybe his kid had a fever and had to go to the med center or something, but if this guy really had a kid with serious health problems I have a hard time understanding how he doesn't have time to run a team but he can GM two. I guess the hospital has free WiFi...

And I'm not sure why a seemingly decent guy like you who "gets it" would want to play on a team with someone who behaves like Monoxide does.

Look, the cheaters changed their team name and they boosted. Maybe we'll be confused by this new Viking team. Maybe we'll be surprised that half their starting lineup are lvl 24's and forget all this lying. Yeah right. Every game they win is playoff revenue stolen from the team they beat.

Bort and the Admins completely f-ed this league over when they allowed this. I hope it doesn't happen, but based on their levels and ratings they're now the best team in BBB#15, and if all of the other top-seeds win that means that as the #1 seed my team Rapid City is going to have the honor of getting hosed in the 2nd round.

You know what maybe if you hadn't put him in that situation, he wouldn't feel the need to vent his frustrations. Some of us worked fairly hard to be competitive in this league, we recruited and spent hours getting 1 guy to sign after sending out 50 or more offers.

Then this group of ass hats who couldn't get it done at a higher league moves en masse to our league and instantly becomes the favorites to win it all. I would say the guy has every right to voice his opinions at what you guys did, accept the fact you screwed over a lot of people that worked hard on their team listen or don't to them venting and shut the hell up!!
