OK, here are some simple facts. If you want to rant on for 100 pages (and you probably will) please feel free to do so. But I have a life, and although I love GLB I am not constantly on.

Simple stuff:

1) I traded a sometimes inactive lvl 12 HB (he starts sometimes too) and a butt-load of cash for a lvl 8 HB and a lvl 12 CB. Simple.

No you traded a HB that has been inactive almost all season..he isn't "sometimes" active. He has leveled up since being inactive, so he isn't really lvl 12 either.

2) A player of mine (billyvassi) happens to be the GM of the team I traded with. Simple.
Except that Billy already admitted in this thread that HE PMd YOU. He was gutting a team, and PM'd you about the deal...its all there in black and whie for you to go back and read. You didn't happenstance trade with him, he came to you specifically with players you specifically wanted for players you specifically didn't want. Collusion. "Simple."

3) joemakala posted in our team forum links to threads badmouthing billyvassi, and that thread was locked by one of my GMs. It was rude to post, it got shut down. Simple.
Joe made the team aware that they had a cheater in their midst, and it would've looked bad if people investigated it, THAT'S why you locked it and banned him.

4) Later, I banned joemakala from the forum while I dealt with the issue. I was burned once by a hot player taking information from the forum and leaking it out to a competitor. Again, simple.
An honest person was going to bust you for colluding so you banned him, in an attempt to sanitize the situation, simple, we know.

5) joemakala got hot, I removed him from his starting role temporarily... and then it all steamrolled. Not so simple.
Seems pretty simple to me. The guy had principle, and you underestimated what he'd do, thinking at the time kkep your gameplan secret was your priority...

At this point the team had talked me into giving him his job back, and just PMing his game plan to him. I accepted that, and decided that he can be traded for cash when the season is over. But that point has since left.

I'll gladly trade for him at season's end. The GBR Sharks like honest men of character

So...collusion? No, both teams benefited. I got the backups I wanted, he got a better RB than what he had ad a butt-load of cash to rebuild. Simple.
No both teams did NOT benefit. The Bandits benefited, while the other team got raped. you traded an inflated INactive HB, whom you couldn't get active again, for two players that are active, and you discussed doing it before hand per Billy's own posted admission.

Bad deal? No, if someone had GM privileges to trade it can only be given by the owner. billyvassi had permission to make trades. If the owner didn't want billyvassi to drive the car, he shouldn't have given him the keys.

OK, gang. I hope that's enough info to set a new GLB record. Carry on...

Cheers

If I give someone the keys to my car to drive, sure they can drive it, but they can't take it to the chop shop and dismantle it. So don't try that nonsense analogy.

You guys cheated and got busted, end of story.

It's bullying to ban the guy for trying to do the right thing, even though the right thing hurts the team, absolutely.

If you think that then he has duped you my friend. I like Mojo but he is a disgruntled employee who started this thread in several forums with the intention of exacting revenge for being banned and outcast. Plain and simple.

As I said before some would have been more lenient but I think after Cats was burned a few weeks ago under the same circumstances he had a little more of a short fuse than normal what with the New England game coming up.

I tried to work it out with Cats first. Cats told me in a PM to take it public! If he allows the PM's to go public or to allow Drifter to view, that will be known.

Score another mislead for ballbright. I did not PM him that I was gutting a team.

You PM'd him about the deal. HE KNEW what was going on at that point, to try and lie and say he didn't is futile.

LOL! He simply said you PM'ed him to trade, never said you admitted to gutting the team straight out to Cats.

But Cats is smart enough to know that trading an inactive was a bad thing to do and you had the inside track on how to get it done.

No, he didn't, you are incorrect. But that's nothing new.

Bottom line is at the very minimum Billy and Catspaw are colluding douchebags.

At this point I'm just so sick that the idiots would feel the need to cheat, on a team that is 13-0.

They'll get what's coming to them, in the meantime their team's name is mud. I for one won't ave anything to do with a Bandit's player who doesn't come out and condemn this and everyone involved with it.

Their season is tainted, and their ownership are all-but-proven-liars.

Billy is like Oliver North trying to cover Reagan's (read:Catspaw)ass on the Iran contra affair...

Outside of this thread, and until this is settled I propose ignoring any and all posts made by the Bandits and their players until this situation is resolved amicably . I will be leaving the Bandits out of any future "Power rankings" as cheaters don't deserve inclusion.

Holy crap you are dramatic, if the season is tainted for you over a 13-0 team adding a reserve CB perhaps you should have a hissyfit, retire all your players and never log on to GLB again.

There was no way for him to know unless I told him. I did not tell him. He did not know.

Drifter has accepted the offer to log into my account and view the PM's. Catspaw needs to accept, either publicly or privately, for it to happen...this is so he cannot claim I gave out PM's to others that he didn't want others to see.

So I stand completely by what I have said has happened and the events the led to it. Lets see what happens next.

collusion as defined by Webster: "secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose"

I don't think this was collusion. Doing it via PM is a secret agreement but the purpose was neither illegal nor deceitful. Trading an inactive player to an inactive team makes sense. Why should this player be wasting a roster spot on a real team and why should the other guy be stuck on a team that doesn't have an owner. The Bandits got lucky. A team was disbanding and that team's GM happened to be on their team and tipped them off about it. It would have been absolutely nonsensical for the active players on Vassi's old team to be stuck there. I think the trade was fair because the numbers match up. Its a level 12 for a level 12. Trading an inactive to an inactive team doesn't hurt that team in the slightest and the Bandits bailed out that CB from several wasted weeks on his old team. The trade was beneficial for everybody involved.

This is all coming from a player on the team who is facing the Bandits in a day and my team is only 1 game behind them for the division lead. I have every incentive to cry wolf but I'm not going to because the Bandits did nothing wrong. I get that people don't like the Bandits, with the way some of their players run their mouths I don't blame you, but they are innocent in this matter.
