Two refs... Ref#1 one blew the whistle for "IN THE GRASP", while Ref#2 had a bad angle and calls it a catch and fall for 9 yards.

Ref#1 gets overruled and the completion stands... Sounds like the NFL to me

Bort's gradually been cleaning them up. For example, his middle of the night (seriously, he posted at like 4:43 AM portland time) fix that was uploaded was '- More sprite cleanup (diagonal catching)'.

dont forget, the speed is related to the fact that the "sprites" are leveling up a bit

I have heard a little about how the defenses work, but do any of the alpha testers have any detailed comments with their thoughts on it overall? Player builds, tactics, etc. I'd be interested in hearing more about. I DC several teams here, as well as doing OC and ST work.

From what I have read and heard it certainly sounds different than here, less complicated I guess but not as many options to shut down an offense possibly? I like the idea of a new challenge though.

it's tough to make statements with us only playing with young dots. Like, in lowbie, I love the high sprinting/high closing speed/ample pursuit safeties. Closing speed, especially at multiple stars, really looks solid in GLB2.

With it at 2 stars it gives a 12% increase to max speed (activating when you are at least 10 yards away) and lasts for 1 to 1.4 seconds. Really gives you a solid burst in the direction of the ball carrier.

Right now, from a defensive perspective, it seems like making tackles isn't a big issue. You can skirt by with pretty low tackling attributes. The larger challenges are reacting/dealing with RBs (counters/inside rushes) and related to that getting off blocks.

QB scrambles are a pain, too. I get constantly roasted for first downs on the natural scrambles outside and then tucking and running.

Are you hitting your physical skills first on these new builds, like Sprinting and Quickness for example? Or are you going with a more balanced approach, adding in some Awareness skills at the start too.

If they actually scramble well, that could be tough to deal with unless you blitz from both sides.

I'm on my work computer and can't watch replays, so hopefully I linked the right one. I think the issue was that it said that the QB was sacked.

I hate not having the ability to view replays from work. I can't assign SP either. They have said that they don't intend to support earlier versions of IE9 and java, and I don't have the admin rights to update either.

Cool thanks. What about dominant hand? Can you have a left hand QB throw left handed no matter which way your team is facing? IF so can anyone be Left or right handed or dominant side?

As of now, they're all right handed.

has to be balanced, imo

So many attributes are complimentary of one another.

For example,

my DE has needed reasonable investment in \
pass rush tech (ability to manuever/break free from pass blocker)
pass rush power (push back/pancake ability and holding your ground when being pass blocked)
blitz awareness (being able to see that the ball has been pitched/handed off)
pursuit (finding way around blockers)
balance (stay upright and regain balance)
conditioning (how quickly you become winded + max energy)
sprinting (how fast you run at full speed)
footwork (ability to backpedal/sidestep)
snap reaction (how quickly you react to snap of the ball).

and there are probably other attributes i should invest in for his functions but i just haven't.

Interesting, and makes sense without ALGs involved. Very much looking forward to getting a chance to try it out. Thanks for the info, am sure I will have other questions.
