Recruiting sucks, AD was fired, head coach may be gone, LHN is a disaster, Big XII is an afterthought.

Is there anything the sips have going for them that is better than A&M does?

The reasons they deserve to be there...

Are currently tied for 27th longest streak of all time. We are probably the 14th longest anybody on this website has ever seen. Even in a down couple of years for the B1G Ten that is still quite an accomplishment.

2) Let's talk "Strength of Schedule"...hard to find a really good set of strength of schedule at this point because most Strength of schedule ratings at this point are algorithms which include "Quality of Win" which are always opinionated. However if you look at just the ACC vs the B1G Ten you will see some discrepancies.

-In this ranking (one which would emulate what the BCS used to use and how many look at SoS now) you will see FSU is #1 and OSU is #7...however you will also see FSU has only 1 Top 30 win and NO top 10 wins...yet OSU has 2 top 30 and 1 top 10...and we still have to face current #13 while FSU gets #40 Duke. Once again...this uses an algorithm which skews thigns greatly as Auburn/Alabama/Texas A&M all obviously have harder schedules.
-Now if we look at just pure wins alone...The ACC has 14 teams and the total win/loss for that conference is 97-71 and the B1G Ten which has 12 teams is a total of 85-59. If you take those total wins and divide by the number of teams in the league you get a Wins/team total of 6.93 for the ACC and 7.08 for the B1G Ten...thus meaning the tougher league is actually the B1G Ten.
- Not good enough??? Let's look at all "Major" conferences. SEC=7.36, Pac 12 and B1G Ten both =7.08, ACC=6.93 and the Big 12=6.5......this means one thing we all know...SEC is the best...but throws the B1G Ten is terrible logic out the window as the B1G Ten is actually tied for 2nd...and also proves why Baylor should have NEVER been in the discussion...because the Big 12 is TERRIBAD!!! What do these numbers mean...the higher number means most out of conference wins...lowest obviously means the opposite.
3) Other stats...
-Total Offensive Yards=OSU #6 with 6366, FSU 7th with 6313
-Total Points this season=FSU is #1 with 644, OSU #3 with 578
- so FSU has a slight edge

All of this leads me to my REAL Question.........Why is OSU always the brunt of the Joke this season saying we don't belong there when FSU is slightly behind us in half of the categories and overall I would say we are in similar situations??

I am still trying to figure out why the country is banging against OSU SoS and FSU gets a pass here...
