I think the problem here is that you're underestimating October based on one sim - our 71 pt loss to you. That score was due in part to some goofed up things in our 4th Q and behind AI, and in part due to a wicked morale death spiral. QCBC basically got hit in the face with some turnovers early and the whole team kind of fell apart, which can happen to *anyone* it seems now.

I don't think providence is the #4 team in alpha and I think the 2nd tier is huge this season. Several teams have underperformed perhaps but really the conference is just stacked very, very deep. WL isn't the top 32 teams in GLB but it isn't a big stretch to say that we've got 25 or so of them.

Edit to add: Just to be clear, Wildfire wasn't beating Providence that day. But I think a new sim might have us lose by 20 or less, and then what do you think of QCBC's loss? And what happens if QCBC plays us again and loses by 10, or wins? Both possible outcomes given the teams as is.

blln, uhm, no, dude, that was with the previous dots who were on our USA team. None of the Oceania players. You wanted to merge with the USA Pro Gurupies and then you turned your back on us when you got a better offer from the Cs and then wanted just to cherry pick a few players and they said no. (We still gave you some older players who were really good for a season). We let that team die. And you are not the only one to approach us about merging. I don't know why you are saying this stuff but I'm not responding anymore. I never said we were "too good to merge" and hell I even gave you props. We "rebounded?" See you don't know what you're talking about. Obviously, like most, you don't know much about us. Now I can see why people hate on you.


Dude, no. It was for both teams, has the previous dots on the USA team were all too old but 1 or 2. The Oceania players were included in the talks we had, don't lie. And we didn't turn our back on you at all, it was quite the opposite in fact. I know exactly what teams you had has you posted everyone in the forum we had and they were all included. People can hate on me all they want, but it doesn't change the fact that you are wrong.

We really just wanted to run our own team amd farms. Really wasnt this much hate involved. Wanted our decisions and coordinators. We all liked the teams in the mergers but didnt want to sell out

It was lucky, as those are the only two kickoff touchdowns he's had all season, and I'm not sure how many seasons ago we allowed a kickoff return TD before that. Your return man is awesome, but getting two of those in one game was definitely luck.

Indy was a fluke for reasons mentioned above, and while HHWC beat us fair & square, their other losses keep them from being higher. Plus I'm pretty sure that teams in that hypothetical playoff scenario would rather face either of them than face Providence.

October is probably the best any team 14th in the standings has ever been, but we could play ten times and I don't think you would ever get within 20. Some teams match up particularly well with others, which is why Team A can beat Team B and lose Team C even if Team B easily beats Team C. I just don't think you guys match up well with us at all.

Not sure what happened in other games, but when you score 80 pts, and kickoff that Many times -our punt team was playing at 50% - going forward those are easily correctable mistakes, where as giving up42 pts in a quarter and gettin run off the field isn't as fixable.

And the error of the ai was actually the (ahead ai) which caused a rediculous rpp, still indi had to come back, but I think if they get a rm it won't be as close

Agreed. I was impressed by that score until I saw that they were down 42 to 7 at the end of the first quarter.

It's tough to say anything when they almost won. Hats off to them

after I did the scouting I showed it to blyn, and outlined a few plays where it looked like they weren't even playing defense.

I said- dude we can score 250pts, (may have been true without stamina -rpp-st depth.

The vibe I'm getting from these guys is they think they are the 2nd best team in the league, where i feel like, if things would have been slightly different they could have been inthe wrong end of 150-0...

Either way, there is about 3-4 teams who are better than them, and as decline kicks in from there guys, and (can't see on iPhone ) I think they are at 100x3 chem which means their ceiling for improvement is actually really low

Good game, Jam. Moving Sandman from WR2 to WR1 late had me scrambling to make adjustments. Only giving up one TD to Box is nice, but I hate that it came on a pass we actually deflected.

IMO, the gap is after Indy.

Wildfire played HURF well (neither team did much for the game, I don't think...), and Hali is really overrated if they are 6 with a big gap under them. Honolulu hasn't impressed me yet, and QCBC handled them IIRC.

Fine, Hali is a playoff team, but 7-12 in this league isn't a big gap, and rofl @ Wildfire, we're going to sit in 14th for quite some time and then piss a lot of ppl off who pull us late and lose "to that shitty team."
