I've traded for inactive players before. I did that quite a bit as a GM, because they can be gotten cheaply and sometimes brought back to life with password requests. I have done that before. I've always traded away inactives before. So your insistance that inactive = collusion does not work in the least. If the game's trade meter says it is an equal trade, then it is an inactive trade.

Especially since max cash was involved. It was tilted towards my favor more than his as far as the trade meter went.

You simply can not state that it is collusion to trade an inactive player. That is ridiculous straw-grasping.

Unless I missed it, then I'm assuming the guy who told you "I was a mod" was the owner with the multiple accounts that was traded to the Thrashers. Seems to me like you knew someone who got traded to the Thrashers. If you were so buddy-buddy with those 2 actives left on the team, you would've traded them too.

And like I said, Brisbane isn't the only team who benefited from this and other teams seemed to have benefited a lot more.

Bottom line: GM guts team to help others. That's collusion. A bunch of random trades thrown in doesn't make it not collusion.

Oh, man...I was hoping for 50 pages before adding fuel to the fire. You are slowing down so I guess I have to prod you all.

OK, here are some simple facts. If you want to rant on for 100 pages (and you probably will) please feel free to do so. But I have a life, and although I love GLB I am not constantly on.

Simple stuff:

1) I traded a sometimes inactive lvl 12 HB (he starts sometimes too) and a butt-load of cash for a lvl 8 HB and a lvl 12 CB. Simple.

2) A player of mine (billyvassi) happens to be the GM of the team I traded with. Simple.

3) joemakala posted in our team forum links to threads badmouthing billyvassi, and that thread was locked by one of my GMs. It was rude to post, it got shut down. Simple.

4) Later, I banned joemakala from the forum while I dealt with the issue. I was burned once by a hot player taking information from the forum and leaking it out to a competitor. Again, simple.

5) joemakala got hot, I removed him from his starting role temporarily... and then it all steamrolled. Not so simple.

At this point the team had talked me into giving him his job back, and just PMing his game plan to him. I accepted that, and decided that he can be traded for cash when the season is over. But that point has since left.

So...collusion? No, both teams benefited. I got the backups I wanted, he got a better RB than what he had ad a butt-load of cash to rebuild. Simple.

Bad deal? No, if someone had GM privileges to trade it can only be given by the owner. billyvassi had permission to make trades. If the owner didn't want billyvassi to drive the car, he shouldn't have given him the keys.

OK, gang. I hope that's enough info to set a new GLB record. Carry on...

Cheers

the fact that you were gutting the team makes it seem like a collusion. sure, youve made trades for inactives, and no one is saying you were colluding in those because you werent gutting the team you were trading players away from

You ignored all the other areas of info you knew about the inactive player and the players needed.

You barely hit on anything I wrote, avoiding most.

I don't see what I am spinning. I am just stating the facts in an attempt to keep people informed. A player was traded off one team to another for equal value and cash considerations. I am sure the inactive guy isn't complaining and neither is the active player who now gets to enjoy being part of a winning franchise.

You had better luck with the "collusion" argument but even that doesn't stick when you consider some of the other moves made before the deadline.

Bottom line is at the very minimum Billy and Catspaw are colluding douchebags.

At this point I'm just so sick that the idiots would feel the need to cheat, on a team that is 13-0.

They'll get what's coming to them, in the meantime their team's name is mud. I for one won't ave anything to do with a Bandit's player who doesn't come out and condemn this and everyone involved with it.

Their season is tainted, and their ownership are all-but-proven-liars.

Billy is like Oliver North trying to cover Reagan's (read:Catspaw)ass on the Iran contra affair...

Outside of this thread, and until this is settled I propose ignoring any and all posts made by the Bandits and their players until this situation is resolved amicably . I will be leaving the Bandits out of any future "Power rankings" as cheaters don't deserve inclusion.

That seems to be a bone of contention. joemalaka has offered to give up his password to a trusted party to verify his side of the story. From all that's transpired, his is the most believable version of the events. If I'm on the jury, you're convicted.

#3 - No bad mouthing at all. Post what I wrote in the forum.

#5 - Incorrect. You removed me before I got hot. I have the PM's to prove it. You are lying about that part. I simply asked why banned and you attacked me.

Your first response said I was benched and that I would be sold...NOT LATER.

Why are you giving out only small info from PM's to guys like Drifter? You know you did and you avoided it. You are still avoiding it. Will you allow Drifter to look at the PM's by logging into my account?

the HB you traded has been inactive for 22 days! 5 days into the season, he stopped. so no he is not sometimes active, he is never active. fair trade? no, just like the rest of the trades billyvassi made. an active level 8 HB and level 12 CB for an inactive level 12 HB? yeah right

all i see here are lies

If you think that then he has duped you my friend. I like Mojo but he is a disgruntled employee who started this thread in several forums with the intention of exacting revenge for being banned and outcast. Plain and simple.

As I said before some would have been more lenient but I think after Cats was burned a few weeks ago under the same circumstances he had a little more of a short fuse than normal what with the New England game coming up.
