FUN isnt a great recipe when it involves lots of work for no benefit. to do a draft there has to be a valid reason to pick a player. not just because his name sounds neat.

Again I would need hands on experience to make a better judgement, same as you unless your a tester.
Honestly I don't know 100% if the structure could support a draft but all the info is pointing to yes

At the higher levels it could still work here...just sayin'
as a guy who works exclusively at the higher levels it would be absolutely useless to draft players because it would have zero meaning to have a qb from the ds circuit or a qb from duro. there arent superstar builds anymore. there might be different player values but the overall value of players in the wl is VERY minimally different.

hmm i still dont really understand the concept from a statistical representation. the ladder games are cool and all but people want to compare statistics. the ladder should be secondary to league. not equal to it. most of the emphasis should be put on league games and the data going into them. as well as records posted in them. im taking it that ladder games mean the games are forced on which who you play via the ladder which meh...
That is one of the most important aspects. It is definitely a big part of the game being able to compare your guy's stats to his real life counterparts. If you build a superstart RB you want to see if he gets 1500 yards rushing, etc.
Not going with a 16 game regular season would make this game much less appealing to many. And I don't really see that the benefits of a shorter season is that great for anyone. Why not play regular season games every day instead?

I guess I still don't really get the idea behind the Superstar concept or maybe I'm not understanding it correctly. From what I've read you have to qualify to create a Superstar player. Whether that's building X number of those types of players or have that type of a player play in a game X number of times. So you have to work towards getting rights to make a Superstar player. So if that's accurate...
Everyone that tries out GLB v2 will create players and work towards making a Superstar, but after that first season when you qualify to make a Superstar player; won't everyone just retire their players and start their team over so they can have Superstar players on their roster? I mean the first round of teams won't have Superstar players available; why continue on with those teams when the second round of teams will be superior?

Will there be a list of people accepted to be alpha testers? Or at least a denial letter?

Everyone will want to reach max level ASAP probably, don't see people retiring and starting over on the first run through the ranks. That's just what I see

I brought this up a couple pages back. We will all create regular teams and then add Superstars to them because they will catch up to regular players and eventually surpass them. No need to retire the team as a whole, just plug in your 3-6 superstars where needed.

superstars start out with more SP, they don't gain more than regular players after the initial head start. So in some respects yes, they could play over their heads with older builds, but they will not keep gaining on them.

not true. the SP cost on attributes is much lower on superstars - which is actually the bigger part of them than that initial 10k SP

Not since Mentor have you seen a dot go backwards to avoid a tackle.
I don't like the Borts running out of bounds. Lower your shoulder and get extra yards.
