Yeah, Ive gotten about 75 PMs with offers from players. Its a bit overwhelming but I expected it and enjoy the challenge.

I understood owning was a tough task and thats why I coached (and still do) on a highly competitive team, to get the experience and learned the ropes.

I'm taking it slow. I have realized that we are going to revert far away from where we were two days ago, and its going to be a big uphill battle with a bunch of low level guys, but my main thing is not to just run out and sign a bunch of people.

I would rather sign some humans and fill out with CPU to begin with and make the right choices instead of filling my roster with a bunch of players that go inactive after our first game because we get beat (to be kind )

I wish I was in a better financial position to be able to sign back all the old players but it is impossible at their levels.

I hope justice serves the old owner. It was very unfair what he did to those players.

So thanks all for the welcome! I am glad to be here. And I am active in the forums so once i get my team on its feet, I will be in here on a regular basis.

Edit: Gotta love the PM's from new guys at level 1 that read something like these:

"Hey yo, i gotta good level 1 RB prospect who is ready to go, if you guarantee I start I will sign with your team"

"you need a gm? I know you got some problems and i can bring in my level 1 LB and help you out, i know a lot about being a DC and want to gm if you let me help run your team and start my guy"....(then you look at his profile and he isnt a coach and has one player)

I would have like to be able to have helped you guys out going into the playoffs and then given everyone the opportunity to stick around or move on at the end of the season.

I would think that is what a decent owner would do...I guess not everyone cares about others besides themselves.

Wow, looks like they are almost assured a playoff spot even if they lose every remaining game. Some one is basically going to get a bye the opening round of the playoffs. No disrespect meant Pariah. Just with no players, and awful team chemistry its going to be tuff for you to compete in the playoffs this season. Although if you can somehow steal a win or 2 you might get home field for a playoff game and generate a little extra revenue. Good Luck.

Our team, the Bowling Green Broncos, probably has the hardest 6 six games coming up. Only one opponent is under .500 in those games. It's gonna be hell trying to make the post-season.

Good luck with scoring on our defense. I am the GM and d-coordinator and take all blame for the couple of games we allowed a few too many! Gotta give those backups a chance to start so they can level up. I refuse to abandon that coaching style. We came to play tho against the Raiders and plan to finish out the season that way!
