And as far as this apology and admittal you're after, I've already said that I take responsibility for my actions and will accept any punishment admins decide based on both sides of the story from people involved. I was wrong some of the things I did and I would do a lot of things differently.
But as far as catspaw, if you are looking for me to ever say he did anything wrong, you can let go of that fantasy right now. He is absolutely 100% innocent of any collusion and I will take that to my grave.
And with that... there can officially, be no collusion. If the two colluding parties were purportedly Billy and Cats, and Billy says that he specifically did NOT collude with Cats, Cats cannot have colluded.
Cats is innocent, justice is served. Everyone can go home now.
And I can say that the my friend didn't do XYZ. Does that instantly make him innocent?
If the crime specifically requires that you and your friend have acted together? YES.
Really? So what if others saw what he did or we did? (doesn't completely relate to this, but we were speaking generally).
Really. That's your classic case of someone taking the fall. (Note, this is general, I am NOT saying that Billy is taking the fall for Cats. I don't believe that to be true in the least bit.)
But if, for instance, someone commits a murder, and you are charged as an accomplice to the murder, and the murderer says, "Joe wasn't an accomplice. He wasn't there to help me, and his presence was purely coincidental", than the prosecution likely wouldn't charge you as being an accomplice. Being an accomplice has certain requirements, one of which is that you intended to aid the primary. If the primary says that's not why you were there, than he's taking the fall for you.
