This system would be very easy to exploit.

Day 0-31 your players get daily XP and game XP. So if you "froze your account on Day 31. Then unfroze it on Day 0, your players will be 9 days younger. The problem with this is, you will be able to have a higher level with a younger player. So before decline starts you could reach like level 80 (if you boost).

Yeah.. or you could just make it that you can't unfreeze your account until the season gets to the same day that you froze it..

There is already something that can be done when a service member is deployed. I know this because I was deployed. I'm also not at liberty to discuss it any further as per Admin.

What if you just wanted to take off a couple months to go play army or GI Joe with some friends?

If you really can't find a way to implement this without there being exploits, then damnnn the admins are even bigger losers than I thought.

Should be as easy as, "hey admin, can you freeze this account for X amount of time? Thanks"

JUST AN EXAMPLE this can be used for any reason

Since it sounds like guys are based on days old....a simple way to track this is you could move their "create date" forward a day at rollover if they are "frozen". wouldn't have to change anything else really.

i was in the guard, thankfully i didnt start playing until after i went to iraq, however, i did have to miss 3 weeks last summer. it caused quite a bit of trouble for me and it hurt my first players build from not being on a team, but i lucked out. i was gone during offseason he only missed the first scrim game of the season and joined a cpu team. good thing about the army though, its not like you go without internet long. maybe 2 months max during predeployment training. but soon as you hit the sandbox you have internet. i had internet at ft stewart for the final two months of predeployment, but not for a month at ft polk

I don't think anybody has said anything about your players not aging. They should age normally, I think this was more for guys to not go inactive and get cut kind of thing.

no, its for not aging. for a guy to be deployed for 15 months and come back and his guy not be lvl 42 and all of a sudden he has to deploy and by the time he gets back the guy already hit decline now he cant use him and has to retire him

make freezing accounts a minimum of 30 days which would help negate most exploits. the bad things is that too many would ragefreeze and might not ever come back.

what about you just show "proof" of who you are.... example being you send a scaned i.d./military card or what ever....

then you retire X amount of your players while your gone serving your duty...

all flex is rewarded back to you... and then you can "begin" again so to say when you get back.

because what fun is it if someones "playing" for you while your gone?

So you play for 9 seasons and get all your flex back. You get nearly an entire career for free. Bort's not going to do that.
