There is a conflicting report about this fact and since I know nothing of either side prior to this topic, I'm more apt to believe the guy setting up the tournament who actually speaks in complete, coherent sentences than the zerglings of trouts with their "poast" and "hudge" comments that make them sound like the normal 13 year old internet trolls you normally see. If that is what really happened, then my apologies.

I'd love to see this tournament live on, but if scheduling is a problem, then I can't see it happening. I agree that this is something that should be setup in the preseason or very early in the season.

I also think crybaby teams should be left out. The tournament is for fun and for bragging rights. Having a handful of teams pout over not getting in or claiming over and over that it's a worthless tournament takes the fun out of it.

I think the best way to avoid these problems is to have a set way of determining the teams that make the field. Maybe the top four teams from every pro league (32) and the top two teams from every AAA league (32)?

it was not VanillaThunder's fault the tournament didn't happen.

In fact, it isn't anyone's fault. Bort only has the 1 server right now, and unlike last year teams are scheduling games like crazy.

Even if we played round 1, by the time day 22 was here, there would be no more sim spots the rest of the year.

I'm turning over a new leaf. I'm going to delete the excuses/Vanilla Thunder comments from the first page and move on. I suggest the top teams find other top teams and scrimmage for fun.

the tournament never was nor will be the best answer. only a ultimate league can solve the problems and put everyone on an equal playing field.

1st page edited: list of all the interested teams are there if anyone wants to contact a team for a scrimmage.

You all have quality teams. Good luck on your seasons.

Regardless of whether the Trouts were dropped before or after the ban, I don't think you can deny that Mr. Thunder and many others decided it would be good pre-teen fun to call SI a fag on the boards.

Not that SI and I always get along on these forums, esp. in regards to the deserving teams vs. undeserving to be in a top tournament, but stooping to such childish namecalling is uncalled for, and when you defense the person doing this, noone takes you seriously.

LOL, quit posting incorrect things and then no one will have to call you out on it. You said that the Trout got dropped and then SI got banned as if it was a fact when it was obviously the reverse order that happened, as evidenced by what SI said himself.
