I also want to point out that in regards to the quantity of superstars a team can hold, your QB/HB/LB superstars cost more in salary than a K/P would. You can certainly carry more superstars but there is a lot of strategy that goes into how many to carry. To me, that's fun. I like that a lot of thought can go into this stuff.

e.g.

Do I give my regular players 'low' salary amounts (hurts their chemistry) so that I can afford more superstars?
Do I even take superstars at 50 flex positions?
Is it worth carrying 2 superstars at 1 position, e.g. HB?

is it possible for a superstar player to catch up to a regular player that is 15 games ahead of them in experience before the obvious near plateau level?

eh I want to rescind my 15 games comment. I misread the visual, I think. Impossible for us to tell how long that'll take.

All I know is that after 2 games, the bar looks about halfway to the first marker in the Rookie -> Sophomore transition. So it's probably 16 games like a true season. Color me as dumb.

that being said, a full season of awards from Rookie -> Sophomore is worth 14000 SPs and 2 ability points. So it's possible you would take a first season superstar with second year dots (if possible, idk how leagues will work in that regard).

Kinda interesting if that is how it works out. I mean at one point superstars will shine but not right off the bat so the teams will take a little bit to distinguish themselves. I really like the thought of that.

Big plus that you have to build regulars to get superstars. Still not convinced superstars are necessary.

They're not necessary, but they're an added dimension of fun and strategy.

Depends how their end builds distinguish themselves from the regular builds. Obviously though there will be a cost/benefit analysis that will have to come into play when putting your team together though. Which is the kind of thought process GLB 1.0 has lacked for sooo long.

Superstars start with what? 10000 SP's and 3 ability points? I can't remember.

Right and the same applies with no custom slots. Assumingly, to dominate at the top of the game, you have to have your team aligned to a strategy/strength. You won't be able to carry a scat HB, power HB, and elusive HB. If you do you'll only have a tactical mess, lol.

Yes, 10,000 additional sounds right.

In regards to Signature Abilities, they also increase in cost with a max of 3 starring one.

So on my HB I have Power Through 2 starred. It cost 1 point for the first star, 2 points for the second star, and 3 for the third star.

Thats actually a 4-3. The LDE is down in his stance between the SS & LOLB.

Also a plus is that Signature Abilities are relatively defined. While GLB admins have vowed to be more secretive about certain interactions and not dragging users hands to how to build a good player, they've defined SAs in a way that makes them clear and not a guessing game.

Each star makes the SA more effective. You can see the 2 star effect of power thru and what it'd be at 3 star.
