yeah, cause it is never about being the more physical team at the line of scrimmage and winning in the trenches. Most people just look at the end of the game and the score instead of what got you there.

I am not downplaying the win, but the endings of the Georgia and Bama games lead me to believe someone in Auburn was sacrificing a goat the past few Saturdays

He didn't specify passing yards, he said no SEC team had more yards against Florida. He is trying to pump up a 4-8 team that lost to Georgia Southern the week before, so I guess there isn't much to argue

The latter part is what makes me laugh so much about aggie being aggie. They just gave a coach a 6 year extension because he went 8-4 with a Heisman trophy winning QB. Who does that? Aggie does that.

Mack has only won 2 conference titles in his entire tenure, so let's not cast stones

This was a joke...you can say "at the time" all you want...but we all know you didn't mean "if it ended today and..." you figured JF was the best and no matter what happens he should not lose that title...hell you still argue that JF is better even though it's clear he is not.

They are second and I really cant argue it. They are in a major conference (regardless how down that conference is) and have won like 29 straight games or something. I don't think they are the best team, but likely deserve the spot until actually proven otherwise. Hopefully Michigan State will fix that issue.

If Duke beats FSU, I'll come on here and say Winston is terrible and should be benched all next season.

yeah I'm really hoping michigan state plays em at least close. maybe that would sway some votes away from OSU

Georgia was for sure a fluke win. Bama was a great decision by Gus to put his PR back there during the timeout. Before the timeout, he just had his regular safety back there.

You are right...why would I mean it at the time and not now...that makes a lot of sense.

When I said it 3 weeks ago it was true. I have already said that Johnny lost the Heisman with his injured performances the past 2 weeks and Winston didn't falter. I still think Johnny is better, and his numbers are still superior against better competition. That said, numbers aren't the be all end all in the Heisman race.
