However, A&M doesn't need a difficult yearly non-conference game. We're already going to be playing in the best division in the best conf in CFB. I'm ready to move on so I don't have to listen to the bitching and moaning from both sides. My UT friends are so butt hurt they won't even have a conversation with me about it. I'm ready for it to be over.

Per your AD and President, you left to "become a more national brand" and because of the LHN. Texas, having its own network and being the most financially successful program in the nation means we are the program with the most national exposure. You thought you couldn't gain that while in our conference because you would always be in our shadow. Hence, you ran away to get out of our shadow. Nothing I said was untrue as it's a simple conclusion drawn from statements from your leaders.

As for the better conference argument, the Big 12 is better as a whole this season and we have more success overall in all sports. Texas' choice not to play you was a strategic choice to further knock down your credibility in Texas. If you haven't noticed, your administration is having a hard time finding a big-time Texas team to play. You also have teams all across Texas negatively recruiting against you by telling recruits that they won't have as many games in Texas, won't be playing any Texas rivals, and will be traveling farther. These are the consequences of trying to destroy the Big 12. A&M is essentially being blacklisted by other schools in Texas for what they did.

I don't see us clamoring for in-state games. The only teams who have "boycotted" us are y'all and Baylor, which hurts them infinitely more than it hurts us. We have SMU scheduled the next 3 seasons, and we will likely play Arkansas in Dallas instead of Fayetteville, otherwise we will play LSU in Houston. That gives us 4 or 5 conference games in Texas, plus 4 OOC games. That means we will be playing 75% of games in-state. As far as not playing "in-state rivals," it will surely be brought up those are decisions officials at your pussy schools made. As far as traveling farther, every school in our division is within 750 miles of College Station. Y'all play Kansas, Kansas St., Iowa St. and fucking WEST VIRGINIA, all of which are 675+ miles from Austin. The distance argument is moot. Oh yeah, we didn't try to destroy the Big XII, we just left before y'all could try to do it again. The sips have been divorced 5 times (A&M, Missou, Arkansas, Nebraska, Colorado) in the past 20 years. At some point y'all need to realize "maybe it isn't them, it's us."
