Teams will almost always be gutted, but the percentage of teams being gutted midseason is on the decline. Teams gutted before don't affect the stats, because every team will play them. The other variable is the inter conference game which can be dropped to make the stats even.

I think the WR and TE catches-drops thing should be worth more than HB or FB.

Lets get this implemented!
If voting is considered, which I dont care either way, pro bowl is cool in itself, but have it where the players on a team have to vote for someone NOT on their own team, then you could even have it set to where the tally is turned to the respective owner and the owner in turns sends in his teams vote

I'll be glad when something like this is put into place

+1 But.....

Im going to be honest I didn't read through all 23 pages, so if this has been discussed just tell me. I like it, but here are some flaws/ideas.

People will become even more selfish. Some players play to win as a TEAM, some people play for THEIR stats. Some people will figure well since my team is bad and wont go anywhere, why not play for stats and a pro bowl. I just think some people will value personal achievements over a team achievement. I mean when you ask real NFL players im sure 9 out of 10 will take a Superbowl over a Pro Bowl.

But on a more positive note....

The teams record should be a slight factor too. In real life I know its not a huge deal, but ive been in leagues where these gutted teams have a good player or two on defense who just racks in his whole teams defensive stats. Then his teams offense goes 3 and out, putting him back on the field to just pad his stats. I know he can't do it alone, and shouldnt be punished because his team is bad, but it usually flex's his stats upwards because of no competition.

Oh and Fame could be factored in someway? Seeing how the popular players usually make the probowl.

I haven't edited the OP since fame came along... maybe a small factor such .001 times fame added on.

+1 to the OP but I don't think fame should factor in at all. That is my biggest problem with the NFL Pro Bowl. Not at all about performance, all a popularity contest.

So everybody likes the formulas here? The work is virtually done for me as to figuring them out.

I do kinda want to do some sort of voting thing. Maybe we could take the top 5-10 guys in each position and open it up to voting by the users who have teams or players in that league? Dunno...maybe that would encourage too much campaigning on the forum and voter fraud?

Would have to make sure people can't make level 1 players, join the team, then vote. I'm sure someone would do it. Maybe...only players in the suggested level range or higher can vote?

Why higher? Just the suggested range makes the most sense to me
