Was that not his edited tweet after everyone went crazy by him saying how he really felt? I don't know this for sure, but that's what I thought I read...

It was his reply to all the chaos.

I think Johnny is better, but Winston has been close, albeit against inferior competition. If Winston had the same stats and 3 losses he wouldn't even be in the competition.

Am I wrong? I don't have sour grapes, it is what it is. If Johnny had his normal game against LSU and lost, he would still have a strong case. If we had any size on defense this season we would likely only have 1 loss and he would be in it. Johnny put up better numbers against better competition, that can't be disputed.

Holy fuck dude? What is wrong with you? Winston torched a Gators defense that is tops in the SEC and handed them their worst loss of the season...IN THE SWAMP. LSU, Mizz and South Carolina all fared worse against UF.

Dude, get off JF's jock and give credit where it's due. He was a better player than Manziel and likely anyone else this season. If he doesn't win the Heisman it doesn't remove that point because NO ONE would say he does not win it without the charges looming. If he is guilty, he doesn't deserve the heisman, but if he innocent, he should have won it...plain and simple. How did JF do tonight against Mizz again? Give me a break man.

What better numbers? More passing yards on 70+ more attempts? Or more INT's and a lower pass %. 327 yards and a 61.7% pass rating against a stifling Gator pass defense. Their offense is HORRIBAD which is why they suck, but their pass defense is solid.

Bama's defense is 1st in the country in yardage allowed and 2nd in scoring defense, both better than Florida. Florida is 4-8, FSU should have stomped them. Johnny had 572 yds and 5 TDs against Bama, so Jameis' game isn't so impressive. Johnny has also been injured the past few games. A&M has the 31st ranked SoS, FSU is 66th, so he has put up better numbers against better teams.

Johnny has more passing yards, a better completion percentage, more total TDs, and more rushing yards. Winston has 2 more TD passes and 5 fewer INT. Again, Johnny was 71.7% for 464 yds passing and 5 TDs against Bama, who is a better defense than Florida.

Bama had the #1 total defense, Gators had the #1 pass defense. The Gators may have been 4-8, but no SEC team beat them better or had more yards against them than FSU did. Winston is a winner Manziel isn't. Their stats are close, both good QB's, but Winston was better and got the wins needed. If they all played the same teams, we could compare apples to apples, but they don't so you have to make the best comparison possible...and Winston had almost identical stats but won games.

Also, no independent source anywhere says that Manziel is the better QB.

And now Manziel has 4 losses. You started off calling the contest in his favor when he had 2 losses and 0? bad statistical games, now he has 4 losses and 2? bad statistical games. It's over, get over it, find something else to do with your life than shill for Johnny Gave-Missou-The-Division Manziel, he didn't have a Heisman year.

And Winston did, even though he likely wont get it (possibly deservedly).

Bama is 6th in pass defense, Florida is 8th.

Missou had 500 yards against Florida, FSU had 456

Winston did get the wins needed because he has an awesome defense behind him. It is not a knock on him, and I am not saying he isn't deserving of it now that all the games have been played, but if their teams were reversed Johnny would be undefeated with significantly higher stats based on strength of schedule. As it stands, Johnny has better numbers against better competition, but that isn't what always wins Heismans, and his injuries probably cost him a chance at a 2nd one.

On a different note, I am pretty sure someone high up the chain at Auburn has sold his soul to the devil. If FSU or OSU lose in their conference championship game I will be sure of it.

FSU passing: 19/31 for 327 yds, 3 TD 1 INT, at Florida
Miz passing: 18/36 for 295 yds, 1 TD 1 INT, at Missouri

yeah, cause it is never about being the more physical team at the line of scrimmage and winning in the trenches. Most people just look at the end of the game and the score instead of what got you there.

Stats are stats:

I had a different one up last night that had UF #1...at work now and can't pull it up. If the teams were reversed...JF would have LESS stats than he did because he would be sitting half the game just like Winston did.
