tigers (Popes) were 3-19 in AA last season

tigers are 8-6 in AAA this season and just beat the #2 seed


The level of an average player jumped about 10 levels.


I would say that the team is SIGNIFICANTLY better and not run into the ground.

His team has been stuck in WE AA/AAA since the Beans left the same league in season 3.

The only thing he had to say was that we didn't earn our way up.

If we come back and build a team *from scratch* and do in 1 season what he couldn't do in 6-7 seasons........I think you can see why that would burn him up.

He realizes that he's playing a bunch of weak teams on the back end of his schedule...the tigers will make the playoffs, and as soon as they do SI will pull his usual "Marty Schottenheimer" and get eliminated rather quickly...

Maybe someone like Bill Cowher or Mike Tomlin can laugh at Marv Levy or Marty for losing in the playoffs, but certainly not some retarded fan who has never coached at any level, let alone the Pros.

Go try it out and see how you do owning a team before you see how difficult it is to have a top 25 team and compete in the toughest league over the past 3-4 seasons.

After you fail miserably, then you might see how losing to Marblehead in the last minute of the 2nd round isn't a bad season.
