Week 9 predictions

Badlands at San Diego - The Bad Guys are furious after giving up a 40 yd FG to Seattle last week. Anything less than a shutout against the Savages will be a disappointment. My pick: Badlands

*Game of the week* New Orleans at Northwest - Probably the highest profile game thus far this season in the BBB10. The Nation have steamrolled through everyone they have faced behind the legs of Fletcher Westbrook and that freakish O-line. This time, they'll run into a wall against the Nighthawk defense. The Nighthawks' Dorsey and Mason are poised to light up the Nation secondary. New Orleans' perfect season will come to an end. My pick: Northwest

Gilead at Seattle - Gilead handled a tough Snail team last week. They won't have any trouble against Seattle. My pick: Gilead

Oakland at Sante Fe - Sante Fe is on cruise-control til the playoffs. No one is gonna slow them down the rest of the regular season. They take Oakland to the woodshed. My pick - Sante Fe

Biloxi at The Snails - Da Snails are a good team, but the Man-Whores can very well run the table the rest of the season with their talent. The Snails lost a tough one last week against Gilead. Biloxi won't be any easier. My pick: Biloxi

Bellevue at Charlestown - Just when Charlestown thought they were out of the woods, they run into a surging Bellevue team. The Chiefs need to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bellevue will stake it's claim for the postseason. My pick: Bellevue

Los Angeles at Orange - Can L.A. rebound after getting slapped around by Northwest? The Maner are comming off a loss to Bellevue. Both teams need to get back on track. This one is tough to call. My pick: Los Angeles

Tulsa at Oklahoma City - What a game this will be. The battle of the insignificants. Woe to the loser of this game. I'd like to see Oklahoma City win a game, but I have to go with Tulsa. My pick: Tulsa

Week 6 - 8/8
Week 7 - 6/8
Week 8 - 7/8

As a coordinator/GM for NOLA Nation, I'll admit the Nighthawks worry me, probably more than any other opponent on our schedule. Our unmatched running game will face its ultimate test against them today. Our Hydra Backfield will certainly face its greatest challenge of the season.

Good luck to all and may the best team win.

Were just a little ol' team that has already lost a game...please ignore us!

So were facing the Hydra backfield, thats a pretty cool name actually. You do have a monster running game and it will be a test to stop it, but we will try. That O-line of Nations knows something about the GLB the rest don't. Defensively this will be a huge clash, both teams have good D's and whoever plays best on that side of the ball wins the game IMHO.

Good luck Nation...see ya in a few hours

Great pre-game analysis and predictions bit Thrashmaster. Good reading and you do a great job of analyzing each team.

Since this is my first time in this thread, I am the Owner of the Bellevue Blitz. DarkRogue told me I ought to have a look up here. Before then, didn't even know this tread existed.

I'm enjoying the season and the great competition. Hoping to surge back and make a late playoff push.

Good Luck East and West.

East isn't very well represented in this thread huh?

I was hoping to stir some stuff up with the undefeated Birm. Bombers of the East for our game tonight.

Do you read my "sports column" mystik? The owner of the Bombers is my next interview. I'll post tomorrow on our league's "off" day. You might get some juicy info from the interview that you can use to trash talk about...

Says the guy making his first post in the thread? ;-)

But no.. the East isn't very well represented and unfortunately I believe myself and Eso (forgive me for missing others) are the only truly active owners. Going to try have another pre-game done for this week, but really busy at the moment.

Good luck to you guys tonight Mystikal.
