I chose HB. The superstar salary for a QB is outrageous.

The Alpha testing applications were chosen yesterday. Unless Bort decides to open up an extended Alpha or a bunch of testers withdraw, you'll have to wait until Beta.

I don't think you understand what's really going on and wrote way too much on something that seems even worse than the current superstar standard.
You can't have a team full of superstars and I honestly feel like this is being overblown a little too much.
IMO, they just want to recapture the X-factor without the randomness...
Been around since S2, but my ears are bigger than my mouth in forums. Never thought x-factor was good and now just giving extra SP to me is not the way to go. Right now, GLB1 WL is all teams of superstars. The right guard may be not be glamorous, but the RGs in WL are the best RGs in the game. In New Coke, what top level (WL equivalent) team will pay for a superstar RG. Exactly no one. So why would anyone build a superstar RG only to not be able to find him a home perhaps at any level of the game due to salary cap consideration? Who knows maybe GLB2 will be about the run and RG will be important but then something else will go away.
Here is what will happen in GLB2. This game or GLB1 are math games. People will feel around in the dark for a few seasons. Someone will be successful at builds and a new chalk way of building will emerge in networks. We've been through this before with the advent of advanced equipment, VAs, accelerated player development and archetypes. All were supposed to diversify builds and eventually a new normal is found and cookie cutter builds ensue. Of the 22 positions on the field, I'll bet by season 15 5-10 are superstar builds and the others will never have superstars due to group think. And with WL now only having say 6 superstars per team, that means the top 192 players are in WL versus the top 1500 players currently.

you gotta look at the bigger picture. they are trying to ensure a glb for you to play in the future.
Introducing some GFX and fixing the sim in the current GLB version would be a great way to ensure GLB's future.
Sorry been away for a while so not sure if the sim has been fixed yet
