If you would put some indication what your typing is a joke, that would be great. Most add a happy face or winking face. We can't exactly hear the inflection in you typing or see your facial expression in your typing. To us we have to take it just how it was typed, and more than a few took what you said as not a joke.

One: I don't use "smileys". That's asinine. I'd take your second example as you being a jerk.

Two: it's pretty obvious that someone is joking when they say they're going to win the goddamned #6 seed in a playoff solo. Seriously, are people -really- obtuse enough to take that with any degree of seriousness?

What I WAS serious about was that I didn't give two damns about losing games. I don't. This is a game, one which has zero real-world ramifications. It doesn't matter. I was also dead serious about our team not worrying about winning this year: we aren't. Yup, we've got an outside shot. Yes, it would be fun to win it, but that isn't our plan.
