P.S. Don't worry. That's 6 on 5. We won't touch it.
this is what's wrong with the game imo and this is coming from someone who benefited from the blitz. It's not the # of rushers vs the # of blockers, it's the fact that "adequate" blocking in GLB is to have the LOT shift over to pick up the DT while the G shift over to cover the space vacated by the C who found it more productive to pull to the left to cover the space vacated by the LOT....
This is a bug in the form of faulty blocking code. An exploit. Essentially, to get a proper block, the LOT needs to fail a vision check and remain on the DE. The play design doesn't call for a shift or pull yet half the O-Line scrambles around to pick up someone other than the man they're lined up against.
Like I said,

ETA - in other words, in order to make this play work from an offensive point of view, your C would have to be built like a LOT and possibly faster. Not realistic for any level of american football.
#2 ETA - The fault might actually lie with the C's blocking logic/pathing or a combination of O-Line logic. I think the C actually pulls first setting off the chain reaction (based on the visual). Regardless, it wouldn't have been pointed out (and cheered) if it was anything other than an exploit.
