When my little girl was around 1 I started playing some "oldschool" rap/hip hop (clean versions of course) and she loved it. Bouncing in her chair like a fiend. She is 4 now and still loves it. Of course, it's all about the beats/loops but she loves it.
btw, the 2 songs that got her going the most were NWA Express Yourself (radio version) and Get it Together by the Beastie Boys.
