i've had nothing but good interactions with rjssob and grits, but the fact that they turned down promotion is really, really weak. they've lost 1 game in APL the last two seasons and decided to stick around and dominate again.

Hey guess what, every team in WL was mostly made up of season 1 and 2 players. The champs from last season were almost all season 1 players. How about instead of being whiny bitches and pussying out they just deal with it like every other team?

You have no information on the reasoning for not promoting. I explained this once and if you cannot understand the reasoning then that is on you. You have no information on the reasoning for not promoting. I explained this once and if you cannot understand the reasoning then that is on you. I do agree that promotion should not be a choice but then you get teams that merge and gut so you have this problem anyways. At least some Pro teams are understanding what they need to do to keep the team afloat without gutting. Problem is solved as I plan to be majorly involved with the GRiTs. Does that mean they will win no just means they will have all the players they need for quite some time. I thank all of you for helping me make my player decisions for season 13 and beyond much easier.

Hopefully, the losers from APL get upset enough to where they all brag about not buying flex so Bort can just absorb APL into the rest of the leagues to fill out CPU spots so the other pro regions and AAA regions aren't so rife with gutjobs.
Using the excuse you had mostly season1/2 dots? So did everyone and people will still have a bunch of season 2 dots this coming season. Everyone knows it's because grits and wwr wanted the easy wins. I mean, unless they're just bringing up all season 6-7 slowbuild team i'd understand but if they just want another season of dominating crappy teams in APL and having to gameplan 2-3 times a season that's really lame. Just gotta sack up sometimes. I don't think those guys stopping buying flex is gonna hurt anyone's feelings so i hope everyone keeps bragging about that
How is this different than a team sandbagging in the capped minors to win a trophy? Like i said, unless they completely retool with season 6-7 guys where they won't have a prayer of competing and actually are doing WL a favor, it seems pretty much the same. It doesn't matter. We all know WHY they decline. That's not hard to figure out. It's hard work to succeed in the WL and some teams don't want to put in that much effort.
I think what has folks upset is that there is no carrot/stick for the WL/declining promotion. Korb should never have been allowed to decline one year and accept promotion the next. It should be WL or back down to the lowest cap, imo or at least something severe such as a reset of fan support to 30/10/0 or similar such that there is a reason to accept even if you aren't ready. Heck, toss in a nice cash bonus for accepting or something beyond just the fan support floor.
