Malakias it has alot to do with the types of builds of your guys. Is your front defensive 4 putting any pressure on their qb to cause bad passes? Is their running game all over you? We average about 2-3 punts per game. So we usually score either a TD or FG every possession. Plus if you look our team has 14 sacks or so which will cause us to get the ball more and our QB has yet to throw an INT. The more you get the ball the more your chances are of getting more points. The defense is my job so i aim to try to get a shutout but its not always possible. I have no control over the offense but i do get them the ball alot more than normal. Also your running game will be alot weaker if your front Offensive 4 isnt putting up alot of pancakes. So your "overall" could be better than the opposing team but a good build will trump it. Look at the michigan rage / new brunswick game. On paper michigan was an inferior team. But they managed to pull an upset win by making sure that new brunswick couldnt pass the ball to help their run game. Even looking at our matchup vs New brunswick they are the superior team on paper. But if you look at points scored vs allowed we have doubled the amount of points they have put up and have been scored on half as much. Even with them having 100 more total pancakes than us. It is a team effort and everyone has to pull their own ESPECIALLY now that chemistry is in effect. Lower chemistry means weaker teamwork which can cause bad plays. I am done rambling for now but i would really have to take a look at each one of your defensive players to see where you could improve. Its why i run the MMs Defense
