GLB is here to stay. The hardcore GLB players are here and will always be here. And most of them are unimpressed with GLB2. With that being said, they stay here and all the 2% type of players are going to GLB2, they will flame out with GLB2 just like they do with GLB. Once those players realize the movers and the shakers that put in work to make their dot building experience better and don't get that over at GLB2, they will bring their lame asses back here, and we will take them back with open arms. GLB2 is a lame horse, and needs to be taken out and put down now.

The powers that be of this business should really focus on what they have and how to improve and attract new customers rather than create a new game.

Coordinators, especially ones that enjoy GLB1's vast complexity number in dozens though. If/when GLB2 adds the "live playcalling" mode, I suspect it'd be a whole hell of alot more interesting than even GLB1 coordinating for the hardcore guys that put hours into this aspect of the game.

There is already a game that does that. It was pretty fun for a while, but it got boring pretty quickly.

The thing that frustrated me about that game were:
You have to find someone of a similar level to play against or you get crushed, then you have to hope he/she has a decent internet connection so it doesn't take forever or time out halfway through.

Why not give us the instant 79 dots, with less of a lifespan. Bort gets more flex, holes can get patched. People will spend flex out of nowhere, major cash influx. Make them last 10 seasons instead of 14

I don't see myself leaving this game in favor of 2, but I'm one of those few who likes to coordinate a team or two. I'm not deciding on whether I like 2 or not until I've seen in through a season or two. I do dislike the layout of 2 and the fonts. I would love the idea of instant 79 dots, but if they introduced something like that, they would have to be rather short-lived or it would replace the long building process and change the game more than intended. That, or limit the number of instant slots someone can have. As much as it can be frustrating at times to not be able to plug holes, building a dot along the way is one of the oddly fun things about the original game.

I kind of like the idea of instant 40 dots myself. Maybe you can do both, start a dot at level 40 and build from there or take your dot to where you want him anywhere after level 40 and finish his build

I like the idea of losing ALGs after level "n" for instant dots. Maybe l40 (or 52, whatev) is the highest you can go without losing any ALG and then you lose some % for each level after that (like 2% ALG loss for insta boosts after l40 for example).

The game is just not fun to watch at low levels. And there is no reasonable way to plug holes when a team really needs a couple of positions to be competitive. It leads to teams rebooting & so you just end up with diluted competition from Rookie to Pro rather than keeping high(er) competition from Reg Minors to Pro.

L1-40 should be the learning levels for new agents, not water torture for vets.

Because then you would realize how much you are spending....

A fully boosted 79 would be approximately 3000-9000 FP just with boosting alone
Say you create 5 at $30-$70 per dot, you are now looking at $150-$350 instantly.

Not many care to purchase a car paid in full if they are not strapped with cash like that, so the long drawn out process makes it look like you are not spending that much. Fewer dots would be created and who really wants to play rookie?

All lower levels would be CPU and they would have to beef up Pro

This.

People are saying that GLB2 is more of a players' game, whilst GLB Classic is more of a co-ordinator's game, but GLB1 seems like it has more complicated player building, and more regular things to do (training, more tactical choices, VP, EQ upgrades). A massive issue for a lot of new people on GLB1 was that there simply wasn't much to do as a player if you didn't co-ordinate. GLB2 seems worse in that respect, which is weird.

Building players is the best thing about GLB1. You just suck at it.

Yep etc etc. I really enjoy the meticulous building of glb1. Glb2 is something to check on every few days before going back to glb1 and playing a more complex and mentally stimulating game. Different strokes yo. Glb2 is the madden create-a-player to glb1's full blown franchise mode. I think I will enjoy both, but glb2 is a casual thing while glb1 will remain the focus of my energies
