He hasn't done anything to make him a "POS." He has some douchey qualities, but he isn't a bad guy.

If you take away any team's top 4 games (since you didn't include the bowl game either), their strength of schedule is not going to look good, especially a team that didn't have a conference championship game to bolster it.

As far as their games against the top defenses they played, which games are you counting for Klein? Were any of those defenses worth a shit? And how did those top 3 opponents compare in the rankings compared to Alabama, LSU, and Florida?

Fun fact, A&M scored more points against each of LSU, Florida, and Alabama than those defenses allowed on average. Kansas State scored 13 fewer points than Baylor allowed on average. So to say the LSU and Florida games for Manziel were worse than the Baylor game for Klein just dosn't hold water.

I never said that the LSU and Florida games were worse for Maziel than the Baylor game for Klein. My point was that Klein was essentially locked in to win until the Baylor game, and that one game took him out of contention, but the Florida and LSU games didn't do the same for Manziel. The same could be said for this season. Petty and Mariotta were both knocked out of contention due to one bad game. Why didn't the same occur for Manziel last season? Because the award has nothing to do with merit or consistency.

A racist double-team attack against a black man and then providing a fake ID to the cops seems to put him in the POS category.

Famous Jameis protect your anus. Bye Bye Heisman.

Johnny Interception did fantastic this weekend against LSU. Is that now 5 interceptions in two games against LSU?

He broke up a fight between two people, he wasn't in a "racist double-team attack"

Who cares about having a fake ID?

Luckily all the other contenders sucked as well. Johnny likely screwed his chances against LSU, but if he puts up big numbers against Missou he could get back in it.

Attacking a black man who your friend calls a n***** is breaking up a fight? That's some real aggie logic there.

Winston did well even though it was against a terrible school. Though I still think Mariota should be in first.

The altercation began after a friend of Manziel's pointed at a 47-year-old man and used a racial slur. A witness told police that Manziel stepped between the pair in an attempt to diffuse the situation, but that a fight broke out after the 47-year-old pushed Manziel.

Per that article, Manziel started the fight. And the rest of the article does a really good job of showing what a POS he really is. But why are you defending him? He might play for aggie, but he supports UT and has considered himself a Longhorn his whole life. He also thinks College Station is a shithole (he's right). You're defending a guy who doesn't even like your school.

Wait...Winston didn't suck at all...the only negative for him was the allegations that popped up. Unless the guy is charged AND found guilty you can't hang that on him. Yes, he will not be allowed to play (rightfully) if he is charged, but that still doesn't mean he is guilty. As for his play on the field, he has yet to have a poor game.

It sucks for him if it isn't true, but I don't think the Heisman voters will put their votes out there for him knowing it could be tarnished if he is found guilty.

Per that article the old guy said Johnny started the fight, as opposed to everyone else who witnessed the incident

He was a Longhorn fan growing up, Mack shit on him, and he came to A&M and loves A&M. Y'all keep telling yourselves otherwise to feel better about it.
