I actually enjoyed Event Horizon.

Granted, I was like 11 when I watched it.

Quarantine was just another zombie movie. I heard people raving pretty hard over it...but I honestly got bored watching it.

Though honestly, I admit that most "horror" movies don't really do it for me. I'm more interested in the torture type films, like Saw and Hostel. Also, I enjoyed Untraceable. Not that the plots or anything are brilliant, Untraceable had one of the worst plots I've ever seen, but I love watching the torture scenes and seeing the creativity. Untraceable had some interesting kill scenes...I mean, scratching a guy up, then gradually pumping him with anticoagulants? Come on, that's brilliant.

I can't really think of a quality horror film that I've seen within the past year or so. 90% of them nowadays rely more on "BOO!" than they do any kind of plot.

You seen Taxidermia?

The first half was good.

The second half was...well, unexpected but not in a good way.
