I've had it in my team's profile most of last season. It's stuck on with glue so it's never leaving.

I just got done reading all 20 pages of this thread and I must say I loved everything except for certain individuals feeling trolling was necessary and the requests to lock a perfectly Oceania Relevant thread

As far as branding, here's how I feel. I think Sombrero's for Oceania would be flat out stupid. Sorry but a Sombrero just screams Mexico to me. Not that there's anything wrong with Mexico because they're certainly not, but when you talk about Oceania you're basically talking about Australia and those surrounding areas, Sombrero, despite the belief of some others, just doesn't fit.

Gnomes, haha, they add humor, I can see it.

Periscopes do somewhat fit the whole Oceania ideal as far as it relating to Oceans.

Koala's - that Idea I like as well, I think it's very fitting tbh, Koala's or maybe Kangaroos (shocked no one said Kangaroos).

I'm all for branding as long as the image can be added to Charlie over there because that's been my GLB avatar for quite some time.

I think one other thing that the owners here in Oceania should consider is if we're going to stay a strong Region, the 'newer' owners that take over teams each season, they should, imo, be educated on the 'right way' to operate a team. This way from the very lowest to the very highest league in Oceania, it's getting done right from the get go.

I think if we go with Koala's, that's just too soft and cuddly and people would put us down even more. Kangaroo is definitely a great idea in my opinion, and it's something we could really roll with here in OPro. I'm going to put a logo together sometime tomorrow on my graphics computer, and I'd like to know what you all think of it. In the mean time though, what else besides a kangaroo would you guys want on this?

Hmm... isn't a big animal kind of hard to add to people's avatars? Maybe if we're talking about something small that is commonly associated with oceans such as some kind of fish or... a parrot (pirates).

Oceania is basically Australia and a bunch of small islands, so I'd say what they all have most in common would be beaches... so surf boards or sun tan lotion (potentially heavily applied to noses) seem like solid options to me, as far as avatar modifications go. Palm trees or sunglasses would fit well also.... or all/any of the above.

My Nightmare avatar could give up his top hat and monocle for an overlotioned nose & sunglasses... or perhaps an eyepatch and foul-mouthed parrot, but the pirate things should maybe be black-balled due to it being a common (and rightfully so) team mascot.

I can't say I'm a fan of the blue & green logo with the stars and football... doesn't go well with our team colors or potential fields.
The maroon/blue/gold one does work well for us, so I prefer that one, but it's unlikely any color choices would fit for every team.

O-PRO guys should bring back the gnomes. Those were fun days

Personally, and yes I know I risk getting the Gnome finger, I like the Idea of the "Palm tree".... if we go with an animal it should be aquatic, like a sea turtle or seagull....

The gnome just screams Travelocity to me...

However, if the new owners all decide to keep the Gnome I will abide by that decision..... and adjust my avatar accordingly....

Is a jellybird aquatic enough to represent the league?
