Looking forward to seeing this stuff getting implimented, it will definately help me decide if I want to remain an owner or not beyond season 10. If this stuff comes into play, then I would remain an owner for at least a couple season to try out this stuff.

I hope to all that is holy that Bort does not increase team income. The cost of equipment now will lead to a situation like how the salary cap works in the NFL. It forces the decision of "Do we want a strong D, or a strong O?" "Do we balance the spending throughout the roster?" or "Do we have a team full of fully epix'd out lvl 56's with 32's backing them up?" It will force smart spending and budgeting from teams.
There is no way anyone can justify being able to afford 40 of the best players in the game on a team, and being able to afford to fully pimp them out. That's like asking why your All Madden Uber Team, with the best players at every position can't make it under the salary cap.
I totally respect the fact that a group of guys want to stick together on the same team, but jesus tap-dancing christ, you can't have it all.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I thought I'd post on it. I think stadium building right now is too mindless. People talk about having cookie cutter players, yet what about the stadium. Every stadium is built the same. I think it would be better and more fun if there was more variety in stadium building. For example, each lvl could be a slot where you could add seats like they are now (which would solely benefit finances), or seats that do not necessarily bring in as much income, but have bonuses for your team to compensate for the lost income. And, you could have additional slots such as a spot for injury prevention/rehabilitation (if injuries ever are put in this game). You could also scrap the idea of having a certain amount of luxury suites, club seats, and regular seats and allow team owners more freedom to build the amount they want (but just make it so that each lvl has a maximum number of seats...i.e. lvl 1 might have a maximum of 30,000 regular seats, but the maximum number of club seats (if it is filled with only club seats) would only be 15,000. You could add something like a city population type (with a certain average income lvl) and that income lvl goes up as the team does better. Obviously, this has some gaps in it, but I think stadium variety will make the game for owners/gms a little more interesting and much less mindless (in truth, I really do not see the point of stadium building right outside of it being a way to get rid of bad owners).

Hopefully this would put some more thought into the stadium building. Your ideas are interesting, but I think would need to be worked out more.

I like the idea of having max stadium size based on league. NFL teams (Pro teams) have much bigger stadiums then CFL teams (AAA teams). Gives you more incentive to move up, because right now it is an advantage not to be promoted so you can get more home playoff games next season.
But this kind of goes hand in hand with the idea that I think there should be an elite Pro league so we can know once and for all who is the best in GLB.

The reason I would like a max stadium size per league would be to stop teams from gutting/dropping to BBB and then resigning high level players with the money from a maxed out stadium.

I agree.
I am going to modify my OP to reflect a better thought out version of this part of the topic.

Stadium Regulation
When a team is moved from a higher league to a lower league there should be some penalty on the stadium.
If the regulation is based on team performance and therefor only by one league the penalty would be small. If a AAA team request for a demotion to BBB, the stadium should have a larger penalty.
Single Demotion based on team performance
Ticket Sales Penalty
5% for the first season
Single Demotion by request
Ticket Sales Penalty
10% for the first season
5% for the second season
Double Demotion by request
15% for the first season
10% for the second season
5% for the third season
Triple Demotion by request
20% for the first season
15% for the second season
10% for the third season
5% for the fourth season
This needs more input so please advise.

+1 LOVE it
EDIT: But for the team doctors, etc. You should have different ones, like, Doctor Tim has 15 years of experience or something and Doctor Sam has 20 years.
Or like Goal Line Hospital is a top hospital with great service for 1 million/year, but Blitz Hospital isn't as great, but comes for a cheaper price at 500 grand/year.
Just a suggestion.
