It happens when teams focus on the run a bit more in the playoffs.

We were promoted to a higher league for next season - we'll see what happens.

I averaged a lower yards as well. You have to figure that regular season you are playing against all the teams and during the playoffs you are playing only the best teams.

Even then, in the conference final we played the same team that Wall received 8+ ypc on in the regular season. Getting league awards puts a target on your running game.

The only thing that would change in tactics between a regular season and playoff game would be the individual player tactics. A lot of teams started figuring out how to actually counter the rushing game via Defensive AI later in the season, though.
