No....I really do think he's overrated.

But then again, my team is the Bears, so yea.....we actually would take him. But that has more to do with our QBs sucking hard than with Brady being any good.

If you think Brady is overrated then how can you think they are fucked.

Either he is really good or he's just average and Matt Cassell will step in and play almost as well.

Cassell will be fine, he hasnt played a whole lot, but with the line they have and the WRs he has to throw too....he'll be fine. Hell even i could go out there and play well for them.
EDIT: and i mean me personally, not my GLB player, lol.

No....I think he is just a "good" Quarterback. I consider him overrated because every one else seems to think he's the greatest quarterback to ever hold a football.

And I think they are fucked because Matt Cassell has barely played 100 plays at QB since HS.

Which also makes it that much sweeter that it happened to the Pats. They could've gotten Cassell a lot of useful playing time and experience last season, but instead they ran up the score every chance they had like a bunch of pricks.

Haha....you know that's Lovie Smith's philosophy this year.

They should designate a new position for Orton...."Ball hand off-er" or something like that.

Brady is the best QB to ever hold a football at this stage of his career. "Good" QBs make the playoffs, great QBs lead their teams to a few wins, maybe even to the Super bowl. Tom Brady wins 3 super bowls. He is not over rated.

As sad as it is, I think a lot of football "fans" root for players on other teams to get hurt. I attended the Browns home opener to watch the Cowboys play. Aside from the standard jeering and chants of "a$$hole" I got to my seat in one piece. However, at one point Romo went down and appeared to be hurt. When they showed him on the big screen I'd say a good percentage of Browns "fans" started cheering - hoping he was hurt. Classy. We got the last laugh though, and there were no Browns fans giving me crap on the way out.

IMO, anyone who calls him/herself a football fan should NEVER cheer when someone gets hurt, especially a player the caliber of Brady. It's ridiculous to say that you love a game yet also love to see one of its best players hurt.

It sucks but, it does open all new door to the playoffs for many teams if he is out for the season(Jets division winners anyone?? Favre looked good, little shaky at times, but very solid for a start on a new team)

They won yesterday without him but it was only the Chiefs. Havent they got the Jets and a certain Brett Favre next? I wonder if the Pats will turn into a running team for the remainder of the season with Brady gone for the year.

All I know is Maroney is looking like a stronger pick with Brady out
