just want to throw a shout out to my boys today. our backups came up huge against a team on the average 2-3 levels above them. good game seattle.

i was going to apologize to new brunswick and double t, as i didn't
have the time nor inclination to plan for either game, but i guess
it wasn't necessary, unless you guys were doing some weirdness.
shrug, i don't give a crap about scrims anyway, at least if they're
not setup by the owners, but cubes are looking good for out of
conference since the season started:
08/22/2008 Canton Hall Of Famers W 24-12
08/24/2008 N'awlins Voodoo W 34-30
09/02/2008 Rochester Vendetta L 12-16
09/08/2008 at New Brunswick Sentinels W 37-30
09/10/2008 Double T Red Raiders W 34-17
and it was the west who was making the case for scrimmages
being meaningful when we were at this point at the end of s3.
wasn't just us tho -- east did well across the board today (11-5
east). superiority shifted to the east? i don't know about that,
but it's getting a lot more difficult to say the west is definitely
best these days.
congrats to rochester for being the only team in the west
to take us down. oh, and for winning that, what's it called...
that title game thinger...hmm...
all tongue-in-cheek fun aside, nice games, everyone. a lot
of interesting matchups leaguewide the past few weeks.

to be fair.. vegas and rochester did most of the shit talking, and we went a combined 7-2 against the best the east had to offer this season.
i will say that the top of the east has made great strides though, you wont see me talking much shit this upcoming season.

It is my contention that the Inter league's are important, and major Kudos go to the East for getting an 11-5 win today. I have to say that I am glad I'm being promoted this season, because next season we're going to have even more gutted teams, and it's going to be an instance of nothing really mattering until the playoffs because half the league is gutted teams.
I don't have a solution though =/
The Cubes were a game where we spent a lot of time scouting to make sure we had the right gameplan. We knew it wasn't going to be an easy game, and I actually think the fact that we won that game and got 3rd seed is what allowed us to make it to the Championship game this season. I have a profound respect for every team in this league who puts effort into their team. I hope Bort decides to do a mass promotion/demotion during the offseason, but unfortunately I think you's are stuck with a half gutted league next season.
Either way, our goal is to never see you again until you hit the Pros. =)

Ditto. You may have no respect for me or my DAI, but I have a lot of respect for the game-planning prowess of the Cubes. I didn't spend all night figuring out how to hold you to 12 points because I lacked respect for your team.
However, my tombstone will still read "Fucking Cubes Don't Like My D".

Hey, we like your D. We just don't like what it does to us.
Hopefully we'll be able to solve it in season 6.

hmm, canton lost to mcd, cubes, and heat, and won no games against bbb2.
they didn't do so hot in scrims overall -- i assume they used them to
test more than to win.
not a bad first regular season for them in a1 tho.

You all do realize that you can just play head to head & skip all the pseudo e-peen comparisons now, right? Spend less than a dollar, agree to be serious with tactics & just play an off season scrim & be done with it.. geez.

It's much more convenient to take full credit for wins, while dismissing losses as strategic experiments
